Skill/Chance Combinational play and Hidden Win Games for the ultimate challenge. OpozO is a system that binds unlimited variables and can be played in 7+ dimensions. OpozO defies conventions and perceptions and will help you overcome or bypass unconscious bias. OpozO is not a Game. Its Play Democracy and Play Equality for us all.

My background is in Accounting, Asset & Commercial Finance, Personal & Commercial Banking, Insurance, IT, BPO, Project/Program Management, Business Analyst, Business Consulting, Strategic Development, Business Owner. Most recently with OpozO I have focussed on Product Design, Systems Development, Manufacture/Production Engineering, Logistics and Marketing. 

I am a natural dyslexic creator and innovator who loves to make the impossible possible by making the complex simple. I am a Business Process & Risk Mitigation Engineer. I have developed, managed, and led innovation success often achieving what people said could not be done.

OpozO will release its first game changer physical products in 2024. We are now play testing and finalising new ways to teach maths in advance of any global curriculums and deliver new ways to recruit, train and develop staff and leadership skills in business. We are seeking funding to deliver OpozO Online.

New UK National Academy of Maths ("NAM")

I welcomed the draft report received yesterday that is to be submitted by DSIT (Department of Science, Innovation and Technology) to Government in response to the call for a new and dedicated National Academy of Maths.

OpozO was one of 53 respondents to a call for consultation. In addition DSIT have stated contact with over 100 other interested parties in the search to define the remit and focus of NAM. 

The UK has a long and strong tradition with the subject of Mathematics we as a country can be proud of.

My reasoning for wanting to be a part of the consultation process was to address the general issue of Math Competency in the UK. Government statistics tell us 17.9 million adults and 1.4 million children in the UK representing c. 29% of the population CANNOT attain foundation level math skills. 

The UK is not alone in this matter as other leading industrial nations such as USA, France and Germany all are suffering reductions in math skills attainment as shown by the recent PISA Global Math Rankings findings.

For this reason and more, OpozO aims to address this deficit with our new OpozO MathObility and OpozO PhysObility Play Sets to be released by end of this year ensuring through innovative play we can all achieve the confidence to attain new math skills.

We welcome the finding of the consultation but stress the need to prioritise not the excellence in UK Math but the deficits first. 

Imagine the impact on productivity and new career choices for the 29% of the population who struggle. 

Imagine a new country where productivity increases are assured to meet fiscal planning and overall GDP requirements. If productivity goes up, then room for Tax reduction presents itself so we should all take note and add our voice to this important issue as it affects everyone in our society.

What we want is less of the same, less status quo. We are failing to achieve minimum standards of Math Education for a significant portion of society that seem almost forgotten. We want action.

I for one welcome the Governments initiative with NAM and will always look to champion the needs of those who struggle with this lifelong skill requirement.

The Big Ambition Report

Some Executive Summary Findings on Education: -

60% of children agreed they enjoyed school or college. 

Secondary-aged children were the least likely to agree that they enjoy school. Responses on behalf of 4-year olds were the most likely to be agree (93%), while 13-year-olds and adults responding on their behalf were the least likely (44%).  

Children with SEND (Special Education Needs) were less likely to say they enjoy school (56%) than children without (69%), however, children in state-funded special schools were more likely to agree (76%).

75% of children agreed they had great teachers who supported them. 

Children in schools rated ‘Outstanding’ were more likely (79%) to agree that they had great teachers who supported them than those in schools rated ‘Inadequate’ (72%). 

Children in schools where the majority of pupils were eligible for free school meals were also more likely to agree (83%) than children in schools where a minority of pupils were eligible for free school meals. (77%)

Great to see that the majority of children have great teachers. We need great teachers to inspire the imaginations of our collective future.

Big read, lots to digest but work and information that deserves our attentions.
