Initially joining as CTO and becoming CEO during our journey, I led an incredible team that built a next generation consumer financial product, which served tens of thousands of users in NYC before acquisition.

I had both the pleasure and privilege of leading multiple organizations (60+ people) at Addepar between Series C & D rounds: product management, product engineering, design, and quality assurance, collectively known as Product Development. My teams were responsible for delivering both delight and utility for the financial industry by building intuitive and powerful products on top of Addepar's Financial Graph.

As part of my responsibilities in leading Product Development, I also worked cross-functionally with the executive leadership team to ensure that Addepar's product and business strategies were aligned as Addepar seeks to transform and repair a fractured financial system.

While at LinkedIn, I led a team of developers tasked with building, sustaining, and advancing the Recruiter product at LinkedIn, which is an industry-leading tool for recruitment professionals. I'm responsible for ensuring solid and efficient development of Recruiter, creating a healthy team culture, and advancing web development in general here at LinkedIn. I work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, engineers, QA engineers, marketers, and salespeople to ensure a fantastic experience for our clients.

I joined Gander Mountain, based in Minneapolis, MN, in January 2012 as a front-end engineer, focusing on CSS and JavaScript development. As the lead front-end developer on multiple customer-facing projects (including the implementation of a new checkout process and a customer account system), I've been directly involved in increasing conversion and customer-retention. I led the team forward, utilizing experience and creative thinking to handle the myriad of problems encountered in a retail environment. I also acted as the primary liaison from front-end development to business users in the marketing and merchandising departments, functioning in many respects as a business analyst & product manager for key projects.

I was the lead web developer at the company, focusing primarily on web development in a LAMP environment. I was responsible for managing Git repositories, open and closed source projects, and developing applications from the ground up. Upon arrival at DataGroup, I was also responsible for building the web development & design program from scratch. Under my leadership, the department grew rapidly in both revenue and size, which led to my responsibilities including a management role as well.

Regardless of the hat I'm wearing at the time, from leading a team of extraordinary people to building fantastic products to leading within the community, these principles guide me:
