Give me a challenge. Give me a problem or a project that is not sexy or that no one else wants to fix, and I will roll my sleeves up, get my hands dirty, and get it done. With me, what you see is what you get. And what you get is well thought out and practical outcomes to a range of problems. I have spent most of my career working in financial services and while, in recent years, my experience has been in remediation and mitigation, my skills are broader than that. I have a knack of getting to the root cause, being tenacious in getting there and delivering a result. Whether I am leading a team, consulting to a team, or part of a team, I am equally happy. As long as the focus is figuring out problems, designing options, and arriving at sustainable solutions. I am also good at using data and insights to understand issues and am accustomed to working to tight budgets and timeframes. People will tell you that about me. My biggest satisfaction though, comes from mentoring and coaching people. If I walk away from an assignment knowing I have helped build capability in the team, that’s a great feeling.
