DeShante' Johnson's Linkedin Analytics

My background has been working with people to improve my communication and interpersonal skills. I have been successful in expanding my skill set and critical thinking abilities. I realized my personality is an excellent fit for sales, so I have spent three months going through an intensive online course in technology sales development. I have read books like How to Win Friends and Influence People, Fanatical Prospecting, and SPIN Selling. Additionally, I have learned skills like prospect research, cold outreach (Email, Phone, LinkedIn), and running a discovery call with SPIN and BANT. My current goal is to get started from scratch in a sales development internship where I can apply the skills I've learned and practiced over the last few months. Whether I'm assisting SDRs with whole research functions or prospecting, I can be a great asset to your sales team. My volunteer experience includes working at my local church as a Deacon, a leader-servant that is a recognized office of authority, since 2012. I have led and taught the music department for 5 years. Lastly, I have been an integral portion of the finance and media departments. I enjoy bowling and going to the gun range in my spare time. I love singing and playing the piano and bass guitar. I also have a strong affinity for working with my hands to build things.
