Friendship Tours World Travel

Began working part-time with Friendship Tours World Travel as a Teacher Leader with a group of high school students traveling to Vietnam on an education and volunteer based itinerary. It was a rare pleasure to witness and be a part of the transformation that takes place when people are guided outside their safe familiar bubbles and confronted with a people still affected by war. 

Upon my return I continued to work part-time as a Curriculum Manager where I developed itinerary based study guides for Teacher Leaders to use in the classroom, while on their trip, and after. Additionally, I managed the Friendship Fund, which is a non-profit organization that offers financial aid assistance to students hoping to participate in the educational tours abroad through Friendship Tours World.

I continue to volunteer with the organization on an as needed basis and look forward to leading future groups through Cambodia, Cuba, and Africa.
