- Provided a social media audit to twelve Facebook pages and twelve Twitter profiles.
- Piloted Instagram accounts for two key dealerships: BMW of Minnetonka & Porsche Minneapolis.

Digital Marketing & Sales Strategy

I'm passionate and experienced in identifying the challenges and finding the solutions for keeping a brand relevant in the eyes, minds and hearts of people (customers/fans/community).

Esports/Gaming, Sports, Music and Web3 are the verticals I play in.

As many of you know, while having not gone to Duke, I feel very close to the school by way of my personal relationships and fandom there over the last 10 years. 

It was great to get back for the 2nd year to speak at the Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business Web3 Conference; and even better, I was able to bring my client Brycent along with me. 

Our takes are similar, and differ in certain areas, however we both are macro-bullish on this new technology and its impact on gaming. 

A couple key takeaways from our panel together:

1. VC’s are the worst thing to have happened to web3 gaming this early in its adoption. 

2. Speculative assets don’t make great games and gaming communities — great games create passionate communities which organically create valuable items for speculation. 

3. Today, Blockchain technology is more relative and valuable to offer solutions with identity, security, cheating, and payments problems. 

4. A great game is subjective; the marketplace of players decide if the game is great — great games that generate/cultivate great content are more prompt for success than those that don’t. 

5. Web3 games aren’t just competing against web3 games — all games are competing against time and attention of players (web2 or web3). 

I’m at the intersection between my bullish thoughts around Epic Games/UEFN/UGC/Roblox + web3/blockchain technology — do they both converge at some point? Can they coexist? 

It’s a very fascinating time to be in this industry.

With a legacy earned as a veteran in the gaming industry, it's exciting to see Bugha's career evolve into new and exciting places. Since winning the Fortnite World Cup, Bugha has committed himself to becoming the most elite competitive esports athlete he could be. 

This singular goal trickled down to a content and brand strategy that was heavily indexed towards his competitive prowess and accomplishments. And, we crushed it, building an audience with: 4.6M on YouTube, 4.6M on IG, and 6.4M on Tiktok.

Now, 5 years later, and 5 years older, Bugha is making a pivot to add more non-competitive stream content to his brand and community. 

Over the last 45 days, over 5 videos, he has seen a phenomenal increase in metrics and analytics:

🔹 3.1M+ total views
🔹 30M+ total impressions, 
🔹 300k+ hours of watch time
🔹 8% CTR. 

We're strong believers that the ability for elite level gamers like Bugha to fall in love with content outside their elite skill level, will only strengthen and prolong their careers and opportunities. We're excited to find more ways to partner with great people and great brands in 2024 to build together! 💪

Building a Fortnite map experience is becoming a commodity — it’s a good thing that the barrier to entry is lowering. 

However, as the supply of maps increase, it becomes more difficult to be discovered and drive players. 

Creating content and marketing messaging that ACTUALLY resonates with an audience and community of gamers will be more trusted and action oriented when delivered through the NIL and personality of the creators themselves. 

Three quick bullet points to takeaway: 

🔹 Your brand is secondary — gamers want fun games to play with their friends. Be as non-disruptive and non-advertisement as possible. 

🔹 Reward for playing + reward for winning + reward for sharing.

🔹 Creators hold communities which are you customers — add value to them. Period.

As most of us know in talent, the IG Feed is the golden tablet of social media — it’s all about keeping it clean, not spamming your followers with too much content, etc. 

A growth point for our client Clix was figuring out how to tackle growth on IG, while not cluttering his Feed and losing the hype around a “new IG post.” This has been a hurdle that he’s found difficultly jumping over. 

Last month Clix trusted us and started posting Reels without posting on his feed — which means the content actually reaches more non-followers than followers and keeps his feed clean — and the success we’ve seen is noticeable. It’s definitely a growth hack for IG. 

Over the last 30 days on IG:

🔹 2.5M+ total accounts reached 
🔹 1.8M+ from non-followers (here’s where growth happens)
🔹 19M+ impressions 
🔹 63k+ new followers. 
🔹 no IG feed clutter :)
