Dr. Dherar Faris. Math educator, expert in education technology. He has PhD in math education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens 2013, He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching maths for middle and high school levels and 4 years of experience in integration of technology to enhance learning and teaching environment. Currently he is an IB math educator at ASGBSA.he was the general supervisor of EdTech in the foreign programs at Islamic Educational College/Amman. On Dec.2015, Dr.Dherar has been chosen as Math Consultant for developing training materials for secondary math teachers in Queen Rania Teacher Academy, he has led an educational team for designing and developing face-to-face and online training materials targeted the secondary math teachers. Dr. Dherar has high level of skills in integration of EdTech tools and applications to make learning more engagement. On March 2014, he has started working as education advisor of math at 3allimni.net, where he has worked as instructional designer, trainer, developing e-content, and writing scenarios for educational games. This work continued up to July 2015. On April 2015, he was the first educator from Jordan who gain the Microsoft Certified Educator. This experience equipped educators with skills in teaching with technology. Dr. Dherar is a self-learner and believes in the power of internet and open sources for self-development and sharing ideas and experiences among educators through the professional and educational communities.
