I am an experienced and enthusiastic Program and Project Manager with a background in various sectors, including the public sector (State), financial services, funds management, and professional services in Australia and the UK. Having held several strategic and operational positions across the private and public sectors, I have gained expertise in various subjects and industries. I established my own business and consultancy, Proyectos y más (pronounced pro—yec—tos—ee—mas), specialising in project management, business transformation, business improvement, and business operations. The name reflects my passion for project management and my admiration for Spanish culture; thus, I decided to combine the two. I have a knack for problem-solving, analysing situations, and identifying practical solutions, which naturally leads me to portfolio, program, and project management. Project managers possess inherent problem-solving skills, and I excel at evaluating alternative pathways to determine the best course of action for any situation. I am fascinated by ideas and enjoy examining situations from diverse perspectives, seeking connections that can lead to innovative solutions. I value collaboration and partnering with others to develop creative ideas and implement successful outcomes. With a mindset focused on continuous improvement and learning, I also pursue this in my personal life. I study wine through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and volunteer with the South Australian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). I am passionate about supporting women in project management, as I have benefitted from the mentorship and support of remarkable women and men throughout my career. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two Cairn Terrier dogs, listening to music, attending live music gigs, going to the theatre to watch plays and ballet, and reading.
