In collaboration with two local non-governmental organizations, I lead a school-based intervention project (Holistic Education for Youth! ) conducted in rural Honduras and Nicaragua to address child marriage through holistic education. 

  
•	Direct project management and provide  conflict resolution for cross-functional teams (Researchers, philanthropy, government, NGO, teachers, public health) and cross-cultural teams (Latin America and the U.S.)
•	Lead international teams of up to 20 across Honduras, Nicaragua, and the US (Berkeley; Washington D.C.)
•	Integrate analytics, rationality, and intuition with strong qualitative research methodology, human-centered design thinking, and deep-rooted empathy to create actionable solutions
•	Oversee data collection, perform data analysis, and effectively communicate results and findings through reports and academic publications

Design Researcher

•	Serve as a researcher and project manager of the project "Process quality in SAT classroom and the role of feedback" conducted by the UC Berkeley in collaboration with NYU, Bayan-NGO and the National Pedagogical University of Honduras. 
•	Maintain stakeholder relationships across interdisciplinary/international teams. 
•	Design and conduct teacher training on the use of observation tools and the role of feedback.

Project Manager and Researcher

The Practicum in Education is designed to provide an opportunity for undergraduates to gain knowledge of research methods while working directly in educational settings, from classrooms to educational organizations, and research or policy contexts.

Graduate Student Instructor: The Practicum in Education 

Conducted qualitative analysis of the longitudinal study Examining effective teaching in rural Honduran secondary schools. Results of this analysis contributed to the publication of two peer-reviewed articles.

Qualitative Researcher

This course critically examines leading theoretical frameworks and looks at institutions and organizations engaged in educational development around the world, working at various levels from the international to the community level.

Groups of grantholders come together and create cross cutting teams that can deliver exciting engagement activities that are directly related to the themes of the Raising Learning Outcomes Programme.

As a project manager I am in charge of: 

Facilitating a (virtual) meeting between researchers and research
users such as INGOs, civil society and policy actors.

Organizing a virtual policy event that promotes evidence and builds
connections between researchers and research users.

Production and dissemination of themed reports, impact stories,
blogs, policy briefings and multimedia.

Assisted the Impact Director in reviewing the data collection methods, tools, and results to amend and adapt methodologies for Year 2 of the project "Shifting Gender Paradigms among Youth in Extreme Environments: redefining attitudes and behavior through school-based programs in Honduras and the Northern Triangle".

Educational Consultant

Ministerio de Educación del Perú - SINEACE

Generated a report listing the different alternative secondary models in Latin America and recommended the most appropriate ones for Perú with an emphasis on the experience of the Sistema de Aprendizaje Tutorial (SAT) in Honduras.

Inter-American Development Bank

Contributed to a qualitative study to strengthen the evidence base for future interventions aimed at preventing relationship violence in Latin America.
