We are a diverse company.  We manage The Resort at Port Ludlow which consists of a 37-room Inn, The Port Ludlow Golf Club and The Port Ludlow Marina.  We also manage a utility company and we are the Developer and Home Builder.  As a Home Builder, our experience is Custom Homes, Remodels and New Home Construction. 
 Our New Home construction projects are in Port Ludlow and our Custom and Remodels are in the Kitsap County, Jefferson County and beyond.

Challenged to reduce costs, survive the downturn, and be ready to enter the real estate market again when the time was right.
•	Manage eight great leaders to control spending, grow revenues and defer where possible.
•	Coordinated effort to transition from PricewaterhouseCoopers to a second tier firm for the external audit saving $50k per year.
•	Deliver strategic direction for the company. Coach and mentor individual business leaders to accelerate in a singular direction, while retaining focus on their individual budgets and goals.  
•	Challenged the team to begin a culture change to “collaboration” and “customer centric”.  
•	The Inn is a 4.8 Excellence Trip Advisor.  
•	The Marina is a certified Clean Marina.  
•	The Golf Course is Audubon Society Certified.
•	Responsible for cash management, investments, loans, daily review of cash and cash requirements

Interim President

Over saw Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Hospitality.  Challenged to start up a new company, transitioning two other companies to create and blend with the new company.
•	Review and analyze monthly financial package for multiple entities.  Monthly meeting with one of the Managing Members and weekly reports to investors.
•	Integral part of Budgeting/Forecasting process by developing, overseeing and assisting other departments. Audits by third parties have been clean with no issues.
•	Coordinated effort to reduce Builder Risk Home Building insurance with cost savings of $100k per year.
•	Took a leadership role and worked closely with department heads to drive process and cost improvements throughout the organization.  Partnered to ensure everyone understood financials and cash flow.
•	Daily review of cash and cash requirements, especially during off season and lean cash flow times.
•	Reviewed finance organization and established a new structure and efficiencies resulting in a reduction of the team from 12 to 6 employees.
•	In 2001, achieved start-up operation including payroll, accounting, utility billing, fixed asset system, hotel software, marina software, golf software and restaurant software. Accounting conversion and installation of all software was accomplished on time and under budget.

In 1989, I was hired as the GL Accountant, moved to Accounting manager in 1994 and then to Financial Report manager in 1997.
•	Responsible for accounting application systems, including design, customization, trouble shooting errors, technical guidance and training. 
•	Integral part of Budgeting/Forecasting process.
•	Monthly financials (including multi-currency) for multiple entities.
•	Responsible for cash management and investments.
•	Delivered as part of the team - project management software for consulting company purchased in Canada.
•	Ad Hoc Reporting, Training programs in Oregon, Washington and Canada, SQL scripts, special projects.
