Lead the User Experience team at Talespin, shaping our team's impact on Copilot Designer (Web) and the Talespin App (VR and WebGL) by aligning design initiatives with business goals. Restructured the Design process by migrating our workflow to Figma and established our first Design Systems to set up consistency across our products.
• Lead the UX redesign of the Talespin VR App; from conception and implementation of the new Design System for Spatial Experiencies, to product launch in the Meta Horizon Store. Successfully meeting Meta’s VRC guidelines

Contribuited as a Lead UI/UX Designer in multidisciplinary teams and projects ranging from early stages, involving strategy with stakeholders, prototypes and discovery phases with users. Always working in an Agile way.
• Lead Design teams through UCD balancing business objectives and customers needs.

• Contributed and implemented over 5 Design Systems for different clients and industries such as Finance, Health and Retail.

Proposed and developed PoCs for future AR,MR and VR projects such as product configurators, virtual tours and AR/VR solutions. Advocate for Extended Reality knowledge, developed a 3D Bootcamp for any professional profile in the company, covering the essentials for getting started in AR/VR. Reaching over 85+ people in our offices in Monterrey and Mexico City.
• Contributed as a 3D Artist and UIUX Designer for XR projects delivered for Oculus Quest, HoloLens and WebGL.
• Connected our XR team with Studios in the US and Netherlands. Getting new projects and opportunities that allowed to grow our portfolio and team members allocation.
• Contributed as a 3D Artist and XR Designer in R&D teams to run a Unity HDRP project on Quest 2 thanks to NVIDIA cloud rendering, other projects involving volumetric video integrated in VR and also PoC involving spatial anchors for Mixed Reality with HoloLens2

Started in a 3 month Internship program for 3D Artists and later performed as a full time employee. Produced High and Low Poly models for AAA Videogames and Web content.

I’m a UX Manager with 12 years of experience with Design teams ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, currently working with a remote Product Design team at Talespin. 

I started my career as a 3D Artist and soon transitioned to UIUX. I’ve learned to balance both roles over time, which has helped me expand my network, experience and knowledge in different areas of Design and allowed me to work on projects for Coca-Cola, AT&T, Amazon, and other companies. Always bringing strong leadership and innovation to every project I’m in.

I’ve dedicated to design digital products for different platforms, Web, Mobile and HMDs (Hololens and Meta’s Oculus Quest), from early projects ranging from discovery and strategy with stakeholders, to prototypes and validation phases with users.
