Manage team of 25+ product and operational managers to lead and execute product development for all GCR electronic products, including MD Consult, Procedures Consult, First Consult, Expert Consult, mobile products and ClinicalKey.

Led global, inter-disciplinary team to iteratively develop and test prototype, alpha, and beta versions of ClinicalKey before the commercial release in Q1 2012. A sophisticated project that leveraged semantic technologies and a complex set of data and customer requirements, this project represents the single largest product investment in the history of Elsevier Health Sciences and was deployed on time, within scope, and under budget.

Managed overall institutional electronic distribution strategy for the Global Medical Research business unit. Total institutional e-revenues $100+ million, via  a mix of research and clinical platforms. Established initial strategy and won executive support for a more global online clinical reference solution to include all relevant Elsevier Health Science content including books and journals. This strategy was realized in the successful execution of ClinicalKey.

Vice President, Institutional Markets

Managed large journal hosting platform, HealthConnect, designed to provide society-owned and proprietary journals an online destination to serve individual and society member subscribers. Grew overall electronic revenue 60% in one year. Launched a la carte electronic journal offering expressly for hospital subsribers in May 2007. Revenues reached nearly $20 million in 2009.
