GameWars

GameWars is an eSports / Gaming startup that enabled gamers of LATAM to compete in their favorite videogames in asynchronous matches, through a paid subscription service, and redeem points to acquire digital or physical products. 

Core activities:
(1) Customer Support talking to over 100 gamers every day to ensure the quality of our product, registering and documentation of tickets and analyzing insights to better develop our feature roadmap.
(2) Fundraising lead of the company raising $60,000 USD from angel investors in 6 months.
(3) In charge of organic user acquisition channels, got partnerships with social media groups of over 400K gamers in a variety of videogames.
(4) UX/UI lead design, through the analysis of the customer support ticket and talking to our users, I designed features, navigation user flows, wireframing, low and high-fidelity protoyping.

Captured and coordinated +220 startup applications for Startup Studio's acceleration program for Batch #9. Strategic Planning Operations that increased x10 the number of companies that applied to our program compared to previous batches. Analyzed tech trends and managed the pipeline and acquisition of startups. Interviewed over +200 tech founders.

FIQA is a startup dedicated to food innovation where I developed a framework to uncover customer pains and gains, create a strategy to eliminate the pains of customers and implemented it at the startup.

User Experience (UX)

Previously I co-founded a tech-startup and acquired over 70k users from more than 18 countries of LATAM, raising over $60,000 USD from angel investors. GameWars was an eSports / Gaming startup. We were the first digital platform in LATAM that allows gamers to compete with other players and monetize their hours of gameplay daily.

Worked at Startup Studio as Discovery Manager, an early stage digital startup accelerator in Monterrey, Mexico where I coordinated +220 startup applications currently for Batch #9, scouted and selected 9 startups for our acceleration program. Also at Startup Studio in parallel worked throughout our acceleration program with Batch #9 where we see content such as UX/UI, Sales, Team Culture & Execution, Tech Stack, Design Sprint and more + mentoring and coordinating the portfolio of startups.
