Role: Software Engineer
The project consists of building a single customer repository that will be connected to the entire customer ecosystem. The Master Customer Repository (PDM) is connected to the various existing repositories via an integration and synchronization layer based on the Distributed Event-Oriented Platform (KAFKA). It is therefore a Master Data Management (MDM) which collects all the data on clients and contracts, defines the match-code, de-duplicates the data, and propagates the right data to the different systems.

Lead Developer

- A client needed an inventory management application that would allow them to track and manage their stock levels, orders and deliveries. I was in charge of developing the back-end of the application using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and other frameworks. I created the database schema and the RESTful API using Spring Data JPA and Spring MVC, and secured the endpoints using Spring Security and JWT. I also wrote unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito, and documented the API using Swagger. I delivered a robust and scalable inventory management application that met the functional and non-functional requirements of the company, and improved the efficiency and accuracy of their inventory operations.

- A client needed a document management system that would allow them to store, organize and share their documents securely and efficiently. I was involved in developing the back-end of the system using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and other frameworks. I created the microservices architecture and the RESTful API using Spring WebFlux and Spring Cloud Stream, and used Kafka as the message broker for asynchronous communication. I also implemented the circuit breaker pattern using Resilience4j to handle failures and fallbacks. I deployed the application using Docker and AWS. I delivered a scalable and resilient document management system that supported high concurrency and availability of the company’s documents.

- A client needed a middleware and a bot application to integrate and automate various financial services systems such as banking, and mobile money. I was responsible for developing the middleware and the bot application using Java, Spring Boot and other technologies. I developed the middleware using Spring Integration and Spring Cloud Gateway to connect and orchestrate the different financial services systems using RESTful and SOAP web services. I also developed the bot application using XML to enable users to access the financial services via WhatsApp and USSD. I used Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA and SQL Server for the back-end of the bot application. I delivered a middleware and a bot application that improved the efficiency and accessibility of the company’s financial services, and increased the customer satisfaction and retention rate.

I also integrated the new modules with the existing modules using Odoo API and ORM. I tested and debugged the new modules using Odoo test and Odoo log. I delivered new modules for the Odoo Community ERP that streamlined and automated the company’s business processes, and increased their efficiency and profitability.

The company needed a chat bot application that would provide customer service and support for their products and services. I was involved in developing the chat bot application using Python and Rasa. I developed the natural language understanding and dialogue management components of the chat bot using Rasa NLU and Rasa Core. I also trained and tested the chat bot using Rasa data and Rasa test. I integrated the chat bot with various channels such as Facebook Messenger, Telegram and Slack using Rasa connectors. I delivered a chat bot application that improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, and reduced the workload and cost of the company’s customer service team.

- A client  needed an ERP software to manage and optimize their business processes in the gas industry. I was part of the team that developed the ERP software using Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, SQL Server and React js. I developed the microservices architecture and the RESTful API using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Spring Data JPA, and used SQL Server as the database. I also developed the front-end of the ERP software using React js, Bootstrap and Axios. I implemented features such as inventory management, sales management, accounting management and reporting. I delivered an ERP software that streamlined and automated the company’s business processes, and enhanced their performance and profitability

- A client needed a transport application that would allow users to book and track their shipments by sea from France to Cameroon. I was involved in developing the monolith application using Java EE and JSP. I developed the web application using Servlets, JSP and JDBC, and used MySQL as the database. I also implemented the business logic and the user interface using JavaBeans, EL and JSTL. I used Maven and Git for project management and version control.  I delivered a transport application that enhanced the user satisfaction and security of their shipments by sea, and increased the efficiency and profitability of the company.

- The company needed a website that would showcase their transit services and attract more customers. I was in charge of designing and implementing the company website using WordPress. I installed and configured WordPress on the company’s server, and selected and customized a suitable theme for the website. I also added and edited the content, images and videos using the WordPress editor. I installed and activated various plugins to enhance the website’s functionality and security, such as Google Maps. I delivered a website that increased the company’s online presence and reputation, and generated more bookings and inquiries.

- The company needed maintenance and IT administration for their software systems and network infrastructure. I was responsible for providing maintenance and IT administration for the company’s software systems and network infrastructure. I performed regular updates and backups for the software systems using Linux commands and scripts. I also troubleshooted and resolved any issues or errors that occurred in the software systems using debugging tools and logs. I maintained and configured the network infrastructure using Cisco routers and switches. I also monitored and secured the network using firewalls and antivirus software. I ensured the smooth and reliable operation of the company’s software systems and network infrastructure, and improved their performance and security
