👋 Hey there! If you're here, it's probably because you want to know me a bit better. 

I'll try to sum it up in a neat little package 😉

🥖 US native, working in France as a Creative Marketing Manager.

👩🏻‍💻 Working in SaaS, because I love connecting a product to users through content.
Also because I'm sassy. Yes that's a cheesy joke, yes I make those frequently. 

🏨 Ex-hospitality manager, meaning I'm focused on creating content for real people based on their needs.

💃 I believe content should be fun and human, nothing boring allowed! 
I always say that everyone would use a little extra spice in their life.

🤝 I'm one of those rare people that actually love people. 
My favorite part of my job is the human aspect.

Outside of work you'll find me enjoying nature & frequenting second-hand shops.

I work on all things content! My focus is building a strategy around helping sales reps and leaders reach their goals and generate revenue. 

Favorite part of my job: getting to fulfill real needs of users with extremely actionable content 💪

Honestly, starting as a head of content felt really intimidating for me.

And I wanted to be sure I knew what I was getting myself into.

These are the 4 questions I asked that gave me the best insight:

→ What challenges are you currently facing as (position interviewing you)?
→ What would you like accomplished in the first 90 days?
→ What’s your current flow to generate leads?
→ What did you like that was already done?

I was able to find out exactly what kind of projects I should (or shouldn’t) make time for.

And what the situation would look like when I walked in. 

All in all, I started with much more confidence after having answers to these 4 questions.

I was too busy having an inequality pity party yesterday to post about International Women’s Day — so here it is.

These are the women I get the most from on LinkedIn:

Why?
→ They all are here to pay it forward.
→ They all show up with their ego at the door.
→ They all share insanely valuable content with little ask.
→ They all support each other (and their audience) in their journeys.

And most of all, they show up as themselves.

It’s not easy putting yourself out there in the way these women do.

Yeah they share tips, but they also share a little piece of themselves with it.

And I’m 100% here for that.

Repurposing isn’t pasting links on your company page 🤷🏻‍♀️

It might be distribution, but clearly not successful distribution.

Bottom line: always add value.

I took 1 month off before I started at Big Interview.

And it was a game-changer for my performance!

This is what I thought I would do with that time:
→ Define a strategy for a silent YouTube channel with 70k subscribers
→ Talk to gurus to see how they accomplished what I’m trying to
→ Research past performance and identify how to improve
→ Start reviewing past materials and new publications
→ Finish all of my onboarding before my start date
→ Define a complete strategy for a new blog

This is what I actually did:
→ Visited my favorite places around Paris I hadn’t been to in months
→ Scheduled meetings with content gurus (to be held after I started)
→ Research how I could improve on areas I knew I was falling behind
→ Took care of administrative issues I had been putting off
→ Watched a few training videos to understand the tools
→ Had 1:1 informal get-togethers with my new team
→ Took a couple day trips outside of the city
→ Checked in on my mental health
→ A lot (but really A LOT) of yoga
→ Spent time with my family
→ Rested.

Looking back, I think this is vital for any content manager.

We keep so much info internally about the state of our content — it’s natural to need time to separate from it and make space for your next challenge.

And because I allowed myself to take a real break, I came into my new job refreshed and ready for action.

When was the last time you allowed yourself to take a real break?

“I think as long as you’re mandating how people have to work to be productive, you’re always going to run into a challenge” - wise words from Chris Cicconi

And this isn’t a hunch — I’ve measured my productivity levels.

Personally, I’m most productive when I’m:
→ lounging on the rooftop of my hotel
→ sitting in the hammock in my parent's backyard
→ visiting my family (6 hr time difference from my team)
→ traveling around Europe

But most companies don’t trust their employees enough to do this.

Instead, they:
→ mandate the number of days you need to come into the office
→ enforce specific office setups (home office, coworking, or physically present)
→ don’t allow employees to choose their schedule
→ setup time zone restrictions

Maybe that works for some people (don’t ask me who)

All I know is, I’m able to work in any setting that makes me the most productive.

Instead of forcing myself through an office day, getting half my to-do list checked off.

Trust your people — see what happens with productivity 🤷🏻‍♀️

1 year ago I posted about the best leader I’ve ever worked with.

And a few months ago he gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse.

An opportunity to lead a (stellar) content team.

Flash forward, it’s been almost two months since I joined the Big Interview and Skillful Communications, Inc team!

And all I can say is I’m incredibly grateful.

Not only for the opportunity Vukasin Vukosavljevic and Alex Andrei gave me, but also to work with such a fun, passionate, and driven team.

I cannot wait to see what we’ll conquer together.

That said, this is my first time leading a content team — I’ll share everything I learn as I figure it out 💙

P.S. If you’re reading this while looking for a new gig, my biggest piece of advice is to find a place that supports your career and life path.

It’s hard to find, but it’s a game-changer.

Weird take: Math class taught me the most about marketing.

And no, it’s not for measuring success. It’s reverse engineering.

It taught me how to work backward from a solution.

In math class, you’re given problems like X + 90 = 100

You’re given the solution — you need to figure out how they got to it.

In marketing, you deal with similar problems.

Your “solution” is a landing page that converts — you need to figure out the equation that made it work.

So instead of the answer being: 10 + 90 = 100, it looks like:

headings that play on the audience’s desired end state
+ descriptions that quantify what people will get out of it
+ success stories from real people (through videos and social posts)
+ clear CTA shared multiple times throughout the page
= landing page that converts

This trick took me all the way from 7th grade Algebra I, through my master's accounting and finance classes, and I still use it daily.

Steal it for:
→ writing scripts
→ creating SEO briefs
→ perfecting website copy
