My passion and purpose is to make engineering teams work efficiently and with extremely high quality. To me, quality and speed are not a dichotomy, but rather companions: quality breeds confidence and fast deliveries, and reduces rework and investigation time. Few things in engineering are as expensive, traumatic and stressful as teams having to deal with uncountable hours debugging systems built with terrible quality, while having little time to spend actually building new features that could be delivering more customer value. I also love coding, and my core values are those of agile software development. I’m a strong advocate for eXtreme Programming practices, like Test-Driven Development, Pair-Programming etc. I shape my teams so that they can deploy changes to production very fast and confidently, in order to reduce risk and speed up feedback from changes.
