IIoT Technical Team Lead

I was responsible for the industrialization of new Reduced Risk Products (RRP) and supporting technologies. I was a key contributor in the early stages of new product and technology development and led the team that ensured a successful market launch and vertical start-up of new lines during scale-up. My main responsibilities were:
- Establish and lead the Industrialization and Supply team following end-to-end stage & gate process
- Responsible for all aspects of Program Management following Prince2 principles, themes and processes
- Bring the industrialization perspective during early stage developments
- Provide mid and large scale manufacturing technologies for market launch and scale-up
- Develop and obtain approval on manufacturing strategy: locations, technologies, equipment strategy

Industrialization Manager

I was responsible for complex projects with the potential to bring step-changing performance improvements:
- Lead team of data scientists and process experts to address a long standing process issue that represented ca. $20mio in yield losses. Working in sprints, following Agile SCRUM methodology. 
- Lead project to replace a key manufacturing ingredient allowing the elimination of a hazardous manufacturing process while bringing ca. $10mio in savings. 
- Identify and test manufacturing process optimization and simplification opportunities to increase Yield.

Project Manager - Processing Technology

Back-packing in three Continents. 
Connecting and engaging with different cultures, realizing what a privilege it is to be an European.
Spent a couple of months learning wood working and repairing things.

Traveling around the World

Played a critical role in establishing the Manufacturing 4.0 department and defining the Industry 4.0 vision for manufacturing and operations. My responsibilities included:
- Manage program targeting full automation of core manufacturing process leveraging on emerging technologies (low-power wireless sensors, IoT platforms, Time Series DB, Augmented Reality, Advanced Analytics)
- Identify and assess key emerging technologies through Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
- Coordinate worldwide affiliate engineering teams to avoid duplication of initiatives and ensure alingment with the Manufacturing 4.0 vision
- Support on the definition of future systems and network architecture for manufacturing
- Supervisor of data scientist on application development targeting SOP and Best-Practice adoption in affiliates

Project Manager Industry 4.0

- Leading the roll-out of new manufacturing technologies. 
- Created tool and worldwide community to ensure capture of manufacturing best-practices and their adoption.

Project Leader Technical Excellence

- Supervisor of the prototyping and logistics teams (engineers, technicians, analysts, planners) within the Industrial Development Center. 
- Responsible for the full department in terms of budget, human resources, KPIs, strategy. 
- Developed planning and recording system that contributed to a 25% department worload reduction and increased client satisfaction. 
- Developed technical solutions for prototyping manufacturing. Multiple patents filed. Awarded for IP contributions.

Supervisor Prototyping

- Key contributor on HEETs product development through prototyping, experimental plans, etc. 
- Responsible for the development of first HEETS manufacturing lines using KAIZEN and LEAN
- Performed knowledge transfer to OEMs and supported development of first industrial lines
- Qualification of first commercial HEETS lines following GMP standard

Manufacturing Engineer Next Generation Products

I have been leading strategic and innovative project and program teams for the past 9 years in the areas of new product / technology industrialization, Industry 4.0 and manufacturing performance optimization in the FMCG industry.  

I thrive by bringing creativity, enthusiasm and structure when solving long-standing complex problems and leading strategical projects that bring step-changing benefits to organizations.  

My track-record and positive impact opened many doors of increased responsibility in different fields within manufacturing and engineering.
