I focus on startups with female (co-)founders to bring more equality and diversity to the tech startup scene.

As Your Social Media Buddy, I helped startups get more customers and launch products using social media marketing. Specifically, I helped Meds2Go launch their first consumer product, the Cool-One in the Netherlands by coordinating all the digital marketing activities, including setting up a new website, buying social media and Google ads, and posting on their Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn profiles of the company.

As a member of the ORM team, I helped management and employees improve their value chains and customer journeys. Specifically, I was involved in one product launch and major programs on outsourcing the Unit-Linked block of business and implementing the GDPR.

My role was to translate information about legislation, regulatory trends, errors, incidents, risks assessments, and audit reports into practical improvements.

Other achievements include:
- Helping management and employees of the product pricing and hedging department document how the pricing and hedging controls were executed. 
- Upgrading the way that the ORM department communicated with stakeholders by using social media marketing techniques. As a result, we improved how information was provided to employees and management.
- Helping the Pension business unit maximize the benefits of robotics to speed up processes and reduce error rates.
- documenting and monitoring improvement in the financial reporting processes of Delta Lloyd Life as part of the integration with NN Life.

Senior Operational Risk Manager

As a member of the business support team, I supported Central European Businesses in managing their operational risks related to product launches and reviews.  

Specifically, I
- provided hands-on advice about new and improved products related to the implementation of the product in the organization (e.g. customer journey, value proposition, business partner selection, new processes, new IT functionality, etc.)
- trained local employees involved in product development and product management on how to successfully launch new products and review existing ones. I did this in collaboration with the product management departments.
- developed and helped implement requirements management, KPI management, and contracting practices related to product development and outsourcing of activities.
- helped local business units prepare for GDPR by developing requirements for products, processes, and systems.
- was responsible for all the ORM internal communications on the collaboration platform of NN Group.

Senior Operational Risk Management Officer

As a member of the regional ORM team of ING Insurance Central and Rest of Europe, I helped local business units and regional management: 
- reduce operational risks related to new and revised products by providing implementation advice on the implementation of these products in new and existing systems and processes with a focus on business continuity, anti-fraud, data protection, and outsourcing aspects.
- successfully implement Solvency II's ORSA requirements by developing and implementing an industry standard-setting risk identification, risk assessment, stress testing, and reporting methodologies.
- reduce operational and reputation risk levels as part of a regional program that implemented amongst others controls for business continuity and crisis management, outsourcing, data protection, and anti-fraud.
- understand operational risk levels across the region by providing a comprehensive dashboard on operational and reputation risk levels and actions taken to reduce them.

ORM Officer

As a member of a mobile team of ING Insurance Central and Rest of Europe, I provided local Business Units and regional projects with hands-on support on managing Compliance and Operational risks in projects and programs. 

Specifically, I  
- reviewed and improved customer-facing processes as part of the setup of a Regional Operations Hub in Romania 
- developed and managed requirements for the IT security and continuity, outsourcing of activities, and data protection aspects of the operational separation of ING Insurance from ING Bank 
- oversaw the implementation of FATCA requirements in local customer onboarding processes, and 
- implemented Solvency II (ORSA) requirements in the planning and budgeting cycle of ING Insurance.

ING Investment Management

As a Compliance Officer and MLRO, I was responsible for 
• Coordinating the execution of compliance activities in the ING IM Business Units in Central and Eastern Europe.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with Personal Account Dealing, Gifts & Entertainment, Conflict of Interest policies.
• Implementing and monitoring Financial Economic Crime policies (Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, etc.)

Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer

As a member of the Compliance Policy & Advisory team I developed compliance policies and advised management and compliance officers of ING Business Units around the world on their interpretation and implementation.

More specifically:
•	I was responsible for drafting and coordinating the implementation of the first ING wide Chinese Walls & Conflicts of Interest policy
•	I helped implement the ING Business Principles and co-authored the Dutch Codes of Conduct
•	I was the compliance liaison for Corporate Social Responsibility issues
•	I wrote guidance documents on the Financial Economic Crime Policies (Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, etc.)
•	I coordinated the implementation of the EU Market Abuse and Investment Services Directives within ING's Dutch business units.

Compliance Officer

As a regulatory information officer, I was responsible for:

1. Setting up and expanding CHAIR (ING's shareholdings monitoring system) to a worldwide monitoring system for shareholdings
2. Performing US regulatory filings of shareholdings (13D and 13G) including documentation of related processes on behalf of ING Group.
3. Developing and implementing the Conflicts of Interest Policy for INGs major shareholdings
Identifying Conflicts of Interest between ING Group Business Units and acting as an advisor to the Executive Board and Business Unit Management on how to handle them.

Regulatory Information Officer

Responsibilities included administration of and reporting on corporate actions and of legal requirements of ING to Dutch Securities Regulators and NAV calculations for ING mutual funds
