Currently working in the Structures department at Transmission Gully. I am working as a Site engineer to handle construction of two bridges - Bridge 27 and Bridge 19. A major part of my role requires me to handle Quality Assurance and closing out of the bridges to help with a smooth handover to the client. 

 My main duties involve: 

- Interpreting designs, plans and controls and communicate them effectively to the foreman 
- Quality Assurance(QA) documentations 
- Planning three week look ahead for the allocated bridges 
- Thorough understanding of Document control system
- Handling Quality related works for the allocated bridges such as RFIs, NCRs and other related issues
- Closing out and effective handover 
- Effective communication with the Senior Supervisor and Senior Project Engineer over the works being done
- Preparing weekly labour resource updates 
- Supervising Pre-pour inspections and concrete pours
- Surveying
- Quality reviews
- Estimating and ordering materials to stay on project schedule
- Working closely with the Project Engineer to stay on track for a successful project delivery
- Taking part in toolbox meeting and pre-starts
