Versatile, empathetic and purpose-driven HR partner with a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and over 10 years of diversified experience. In my new HR role at King County(Department of Natural Resources and Parks), I'll be supporting recruitment efforts for the Parks and Recreation division while working on a lot of other exciting HR projects. I'm currently learning my role and will be able to share more when I'm settled in. Now a little about me as a person.. I'm deeply passionate about working with people, connecting with them and empowering them to reach their full potential. This innate passion of mine is what led me to pursue a career in Human Resources. My goal is always to be a HUMAN FIRST 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️and then be a resource, and hopefully an excellent one. Wanting to genuinely bring the HUMAN aspect in human resources is what inspired me to pivot into this field years ago(Long before this became a popular and catchy phrase. LOL :) All my work experiences thus far have been service-oriented and each experience that has led me here has been a great learning experience and a stepping stone. I truly believe people are much more than their titles/labels and their LinkedIn profiles. Everyone is unique and spectacular 🌞 in their own way. And it is my passion to find these amazingly talented people and match them to the ✅️ right opportunities that can change their life! Apart from my expertise in recruiting and sourcing, I also have a strong people operations and project management background. My unique personality, strong work ethic and growth mindset is what makes me stand out as a professional. Outside of work, I love being outdoors. I love exploring nature, traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures, whenever I get a chance. I do now have a 1-year-old so she keeps me extremely busy🤷‍♀️ but aside from the frequent meltdowns, I'm totally enjoying the hearty cuddles and giggles. It's my free therapy! :) I'm innately inquisitive and constantly learning and evolving. And I'm thankful to LinkedIn for providing such a great platform to expand one's knowledge and connections.
