I’ve always believed growth starts with understanding - deeply, honestly, and empathetically. It’s what drew me to design, and it’s what drives me in every conversation I have today.

My journey began in UX, where I learned to listen not just to what people say, but what they feel. As a Principal Designer at Divami, I led cross-functional teams across complex, high-impact projects. I owned strategy, execution, and delivery. I collaborated closely with clients to uncover insights, simplified complex systems through design, and mentored teams to think beyond interfaces and toward outcomes.

Over the years, I’ve led more than 50 projects across SaaS, Supply Chain, HRTech, EduTech, HealthTech and more. Each one has been shaped by real stories, lived challenges, and shared aspirations.

Today, as Associate Director of Client Success and Growth, I bridge product thinking with business strategy. I oversee design execution, guide clients through change, and align vision with what truly matters - People, purpose, and long-term impact.

I’m known for bringing clarity to the chaos, building trust across teams, and creating space where people feel seen and heard. Because in the end, I don’t just drive growth. I help it feel more human.

Still buzzing from the depth and direction of yesterday’s sessions here in Kentucky.

As someone who works closely with U.S. and UK manufacturers through Divami’s design-led engineering practice, Day 1 was a reminder that the future of manufacturing is being shaped by how we build intelligent, secure, and human-centric systems — not just what we produce.

Highlights & Takeaways:
1. Keynote by Joe Craft (Alliance Resource Partners, L.P.)
A passionate case for reindustrialization through access to energy and education. The transition from coal to renewables, and the emerging role of nuclear and rare earths, was framed through a lens of regional empowerment.

2. Cybersecurity & AI Panel
 With Tara Amis (Kentucky Manufacturing Extension Partnership), David Mauro (NetGain Technologies, LLC), Dave Hatter (intrustIT) and 
Greg Cowan (Toyotetsu), William Andersen (Xerox), this was one of the most grounded discussions on how AI misuse, ransomware, and cyber security are now real threats to manufacturing continuity.
Takeaway: Data governance is no longer IT’s problem. It’s a leadership imperative.

3. Cara Silletto's Keynote on Workforce
“Retention is a leadership function.” Cara reframed loyalty and engagement through empathy and adaptability - not policy. A standout moment was her analogy of “trees vs. houseplants” to describe team member needs.

4. Innovation Ecosystem Panel
Brilliant conversations around collaborative innovation models with Terry Samuel, Mahendra Sunkara, and Ian McClure.
The goal: building a circular manufacturing ecosystem by connecting research, policy, and small biz.

Outside the Rooms - Real Conversations
The sessions were powerful, but so were the hallway chats. Each brought a different lens to the challenges and opportunities ahead — from funding readiness and workforce upskilling to experience design and digital systems integration.

The night ended with the Keynote Speech by Mark Pope, Head Coach, University of Kentucky Men's Basketball which was truly inspirational. Followed by the awards ceremony, and it was so exciting to see the various achievements and successes within the industry. As well as the problem and solution competition finalists and winners within the manufacturing space, and understanding the focuses that need attention right now. 

None of this would have been possible without the amazing teams from Kentucky Association of Manufacturers, the Metals Innovation Initiative, and the University of Louisville Manufacturing Extension Program!

KYIC 2025 – A Fireside Start
Before the full conference kicks off, I had the chance to sit in on the only session scheduled for Day 1 — and I’m glad I didn’t miss it!

As someone who’s flown in from the UK, but works closely with many U.S. clients through our digital solutioning practice at Divami, this wasn’t just about listening in — it was about connecting the dots between infrastructure, digital transformation, and national resilience.

Fireside Chat: "Why We Need to Build a Bigger American Arsenal"
An insightful conversation led by voices from government, industry, and media on what it truly means to strengthen America's manufacturing and defense base:

The KYIC conference wrapped up a day ago, but I’ve been reflecting on what truly stayed with me.
Not just the panels or demos - but the in-between moments. The conversations in hallways, over coffee, and during post-session chats. That’s where the gold was.

Over three days, I had the chance to connect with incredible people shaping the future of American manufacturing - from energy to AI, factory floors to leadership systems. Every conversation sharpened my understanding of how this ecosystem works, where it’s headed, and how Divami's design-led engineering approach can play a role in enabling it.

A few standout conversations I’m especially grateful for:
* Building digitization readiness into local innovation fabric.
* The role of university-led manufacturing enablement and the urgent need for collaboration.
