Borlas Integrated Banking Solutions is a specialist software house focused on financial services solutions. Two main product lines comprise payment and money transfer automation suite Retail Home, as well as business process automation platform SmartFlow.
Managed company integration into Borlas Group after the merger along with bringing the company to the new level.
Within first 12 months of integration re-shaped the company: developed new business strategy that added new integrated payment processing hub business and new market segment of regional/municipal authorities, re-focused product development and sales activities according to new strategy, introduced long term engagement planning for key customers, cut accounts receivable cycle from 3-6 months to 15 business days, enhanced development and operations teams, ensured statutory compliance.

MAG CONSULTING

Built and managed at MAG CONSULTING a new line of business dedicated to corporate governance software products (including operational risk management, corporate meetings lifecycle automation, etc.). Created successful business partnerships with software manufacturers (MEGA, Microsoft, Synergy, Dashboard Systems), managed direct sales and dedicated consulting team.
Championed company’s professional services in the area of digital transformation. Sample project: developed a new business strategy for a market leader in geospatial business, having defined prospective product line, structured new market segments and go-to market approach.
In 2011-2013 Dmitri founded and managed a telecommunication integration line of business in a separate legal entity keyCom. This unit has completed over 10 contact center implementation and optimization projects, including voice and data communication, IVR and CRM integration, unified communications. Reorganized and managed Banking technologies division at the anchor bank of the post and telecom industry. Major responsibilities and achievements: streamlined product development and delivery processes; provided business units with technological and methodological guidelines, ensuring technology compliance with statutory and security guidelines; structured product offering for retail and corporate clients; optimized retail client service procedures.
Sample digital projects: implementation of customer instant payments via Central Bank clearing house, bankassurance pilot project, implementation of electronic bank’s operational reporting. Developed technological aspects of the Post Bank business strategy.

INTOUCH Insurance

Delivered upon all technological aspects of a pioneering direct insurance company, part of DiFi group (Israel):  organized and managed IT Department; managed complete infrastructure design and installation of two offices, in-house data center and 150-seat contact center, data and communication networks; implementation of business applications (core insurance system/CRM/finance), as well as accounting, HR and Payroll suite. All this provided the company with transparent and reliable digital environment, availability of business applications across dispersed offices, reliability of all technical services.
Core business application implementation was conducted as an international project, with teams distributed across three countries.

Intesa Sanpaolo

Delivered a major implementation of TEMENOS T24 core banking software at KMB Bank (part of Intesa Sanpaolo Group), aimed to enable the bank’s strategic business expansion. Responsibilities included project planning and control; 8-figure budget, time and resources management; functional specifications definition; technical environment planning; new business processes design, user community and senior management liaison and change management. Led 70-strong international project team of internal Banca Intesa, software vendor and consulting resources from seven countries.

Established and managed Banking Technologies Division in a top-5 Russian retail bank. Introduced innovations implementation processes according to industrial best practice in the bank’s business. Managed implementation of new technological solutions to support client service and bank’s internal operations: new methods of customer service in branches, various banking products (scoring-based express loans, credit cards, inter-bank lending), cash management equipment, risk management solutions.
Developed IT strategy and IT function restructuring programme, implemented project approach in the bank’s business and operational practice. Implemented data warehouse (Oracle Warehouse Builder/Oracle Discoverer), CRM system (Oracle e-Business Suite), and securities trading back office system Diasoft 5NT Custody.
In 2003-2004 championed major project of creating and launching billing and clearing system for all municipal utilities payments in the city of Moscow – developed the vision and strategy, established technological solution, supervised implementation involving over 40 municipal and commercial institutions with some 400 launch locations.

KPMG

As a consultant, Dmitri worked in the areas of ERP and BI implementations (specifically SAP R/3 and SAP BW). Key subject areas of his expertise were logistics area and financial solutions.
In KPMG Dmitri was responsible for delivery of ERP  and BI solutions, business process improvement and change management for KPMG clients, SAP practice and consulting department business development.
He managed and participated in multiple SAP R/3 and SAP BW implementation projects in Ukraine , Germany and Russia for clients in metal industry, banking, oil and gas and FMCG manufacturing. All projects were conducted by international cross-functional teams. Key subject areas of his expertise were logistics area and financial solutions.
In Germany worked as part of KPMG Global Solution Delivery (Frankfurt) and specialised on large SAP implementations for strategic customers. Dmitri worked on SAP BW implementation in Deutsche Bank head office.
Prior to that implemented SAP R/3 at LUKoil and its assosiated companies; implemented financial reporting system at Magnitogorsky Steelworks (MMK), being account manager for KPMG consulting engagements with MMK, a major steel manufacturer.
