● Series of meetings with the product team to gather business requirements

● Implementing the code using Apache Flink on top of Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics
● Conducting various types of testing, including implementing a tool for load testing to emulate production data
● Documenting the service with diagrams to improve knowledge transfer to the client
● Improving performance and reducing the cost of maintaining the initial version by 4 times
● Assisting the client team in resolving production performance issues for another Flink project.

Stellar Labs is an advanced commercial operations system for private aviation fleets. Stellar offers a suite of applications for business aviation that meets operators’ needs for charter quoting, flight scheduling, off-fleet sourcing, and data analysis. Fully web-based and mobile-ready, the suite also provides access to the Stellar Marketplace. As a software engineer, I was responsible for:

● Developing the backend functionality for the existing microservices using the Spring Framework. I primarily worked on the "scheduling" application, which aggregates and manages data from different microservices to provide the schedule board with all the necessary information about trips, crew, passengers, airports, and aircraft.
● I also developed a new microservice to create database event notifications for the schedule board, using the Spring Cloud project, Server-Sent Events technology for event pushing, RabbitMQ for messaging, and Spring Integration for event processing.
● Delivering features from "A" to "Z", including analyzing, specifying, documenting, implementing, testing, reviewing code, merging, deploying, and accepting in production
● Major backend functionality refactoring
● Collaborating with multiple teams in different time zones
● Demonstrating sprint features for customers
● Resources planning meetings with customers
● Microservice migrations (to new Java / Spring versions)

● Backend functionality for the platform, which was based on the Spring framework
