In 2007, I wrote my first prose draft—80 pages, entirely handwritten. That experience ignited my passion for storytelling. However, I never imagined it would later shape my career in content marketing and research. Today, I balance two worlds: scientific research and business strategy. My Journey In 2017, I realized the power of storytelling in marketing. A few Facebook posts led to writing invitations from small businesses. By 2019, I became a full-time freelancer, working on SEO strategies and content for fintech, SaaS, entertainment, and agtech brands such as Boston UniSoft, Afrovibes, and Setapp. In 2020, I was torn between two academic paths: pursuing an MBA to advance my entrepreneurial skills or earning an MSc in animal science to address livestock production challenges. I chose both by enrolling in a mini-MBA program at Tekedia Institute and earning my MSc at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), graduating with top grades. In 2023, I took on a full-time remote role as a content writer and SEO specialist at Joelsson Media Group. In 2024, I was awarded a PhD scholarship at the University of Alberta, where I study methane emissions in Western Canadian beef cattle, with a focus on: - Quantitative and molecular genetics - Microbiome-host interactions - Data analysis and bioinformatics Beyond research, I am passionate about translating scientific discoveries into real-world solutions. This passion led me to enrol in a course on technological innovations at the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta.
