•	I created the brand name to emphasize both journalism and pro wrestling, to expand on the founder/product manager’s idea for a podcast that provides the audience with the top stories quickly.

Web Developer / Co-Host

Zappos Family of Companies

•	I increased product visibility by 50% on our internal Skymall platform, to help Sales and Inventory teams track items more efficiently. 
•	To improve customers’ user experience, I updated our back-end service to handle new tags and seasonal items.
•	I learned Java and Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the job, and quickly contributed to helping senior developers with our internal “tech debt.”
•	We were a remote team, and I had to manage my time to collaborate with colleagues in several timezones on two continents.

Software Development Engineer I (L4) on the Machine Intelligence team

Univision Communications Inc.

•	I trained six Traffic Dept. managers in our software suite, as part of my duties as the primary video-ingesting and QA/QC technician for our centralized, nationwide, video-distribution supply chain.
•	To combat combat missing media files and the loss of billable advertising, I took the lead in compiling nightly Product Management reports for Engineering, Network Ops, Traffic, and Production colleagues.
•	I earned a promotion to a fast-paced, full-time position in engineering/operation, after starting as a freelancer and thriving through three company reorganizations. Broadcast Operations Technician

•	I monitored broadcast signals and automated air clients, and resolved issues when applicable.
•	I filled in as needed for local production personnel, including on live broadcasts, operating on-air graphics and audio-video inserts.
•	I completed basic engineering functions, including hardware and software maintenance, assembly and disassembly of equipment, and physical networking.

•	I worked with pastoral leaders at two churches to develop a yearlong learning program for adults curious about faith.  In this capacity, I also managed a team of about a dozen volunteer instructors.
•	I planned and guided week-long service camps, overnight and daylong retreats, and regular semi-monthly events for teens.

Adult Education Curriculum Coordinator / Youth & Teen Outreach

•	My original rock, folk & blues songs received regional airplay on commercial, college and public radio., and earned me in-studio appearances on local radio and television.
•	I performed at major festivals (Midwest Music, Dewey Beach), and maintained a rotation of more than 20 venues -- music clubs, restaurants, art galleries and community events -- where I gigged regularly.
•	I hosted open mics to help up-and-coming artists and hobbyists alike, including long-running weekly showcases that attracted nearly 100 attendees to all-ages venues.
•	More than a decade before hosting a pro wrestling podcast, I first appeared as commentator Doc Lester for local indie promotion New Jersey Championship Wrestling, both at live events and on recorded episodes published on streaming platforms.  I did this for about 10 years, working between 6 and 10 featured shows per year. Musician / Performing Artist

•	I adapted my newspaper skills for a professional B2B clientele, writing, editing and designing for both print and online foodservice publications.  One website I worked for, Foodfhonebook, had two million culinary followers at its peak. •	I leveraged my experience in foodservice publications to co-host six episodes of a South Jersey radio show about food, wine, and travel, and introduced the featured guests at a local food-and-wine expo.

Contract Writer / Editor / Broadcaster

•	I constructed the visual layout for more front pages than anyone else during my two-and-a-half-year stint, including for major coverage of the 2000 Elections and 9/11 terrorist attacks.
•	I proofread articles, headlines, captions, and infographics as needed.
•	I designed and created special graphics and visual storytelling packages using Adobe and QuarkExpress applications.
•	I wrote two feature/lifestyle articles, both on pop star "Weird Al" Yankovic pertaining to his tour stop in South Jersey in 2000.
