•	Pursue leads generated from Telemarketing teams, Win Back Campaigns, Internal Propensity Analyses as well as those created through your own proactive research, pre-qualification, cold calling and prospecting via telephone 
•	Effectively filter and qualify prospects and build a pipeline to ensure targets are met 
•	Thoroughly review customer requirements and creatively seek further opportunities 
•	Present the complete range of D&B products and solutions, and close opportunities to achieve Revenue growth targets

New Business Field Sales

D&B Ltd

An external client-facing role with a remit to achieve greater revenue streams through cross-selling the complete range of D&B products and solutions within new and existing key accounts.  Working in conjunction with a dedicated Internal Account Manager to provide the most effective coverage to a group of geographically based customers and prospects.  Tasked with selling a targeted range of D&B products and solutions form a specific product segment within the D&B product portfolio. 

•	Achieve annual revenue growth (£1million+) according to agreed sales and revenue targets by selling complete range of D&B products and services into existing and new key accounts.  
•	Identify, qualify and close profitable deals targeting new and existing key accounts.
•	    Formulation of a strategic territory plan with the Internal Account Manager to exploit the following areas of focus: New Customer Acquisition; Retention; Cross Selling and Up Selling, in order to achieve Revenue and Sales Targets through the creation of value to the customer.  With main influence on New Business.
•	Analyse customer business needs, identify areas of opportunities, and present value-added solutions to improve the client’s business performance, in conjunction with the relevant internal specialists.
•	Measure and communicate progress against monthly targets via accurate and timely reporting and forecasting.
•	Maintain pro-active relationships with sales and marketing teams to ensure that targeted accounts have maximum exposure to D&B products and solutions.

Field Sales

(Leading a team of three Account Managers)To sell the complete range of D&B products and solutions to an existing customer base within a defined geographical area via the Telephone whilst working with a dedicated externally focused Business Development Manager who will be the face to face representative within the customer base.
•	To sell D&B solutions, products and services by placing outbound customer calls and by responding to inbound customer calls, in order to achieve Revenue and Sales Targets
•	To establish customer relationships, manage expectations and enhance the customer experience to ensure consistent customer contact is achieved through following agreed service levels and productivity measures.
•	To manage a geographical region to maximise customer opportunities, ensuring all pertinent data is captured on the Sales database.

I have worked in sales for over 30 years as a producer, manager and director for local regional and global teams.  Working half my career across master data, big data, risk, fintech enabling a strong understanding of the relationships between sales and finance - the order makers and cash takers - and the many processes and workflows that make and break these teams.
