The role required engagement at all stages of the product development lifecycle across business functional groups and senior stakeholders in multiple locations.

- Continuous Integration using tools such as SVN and TeamCity.
- Sprint planning, defect logging and tracking using Jira.
- Documenting functionality and processes on internal Wiki.
- Managing test environments.
- Writing test scenarios in BDD format using tools such as Cucumber and Ruby Mine.

QA Engineer

A Quality Assurance role testing telecommunication hardware and software being distributed to in excess of 4 million customers

Key responsibilities
- Testing Web UI and installation CDs for connectivity device management.
- Designing, executing and managing test cases.
- Defect logging and tracking using Jira.
- Documenting functionality and known issues for handover to Customer Support Centre before release.
- Managing test environments.
- Escalating risks and concerns to business stakeholders.

A Quality Assurance role testing a CRM software tool in English, French and German for European Call Centres supporting in excess of 5 million customers

Key responsibilities
- Testing Web Applications built in house to meet new business objectives whilst phasing out legacy software.
- Ensuring all new software features were tested independently and regressed as part of a monthly release schedule.
- Estimating future work requests by considering level of effort.
- Test case management using HP Quality Centre.
- Raising defects and assigning to in house development team.
- Leading a wide range of software projects from a QA perspective escalating risks and concerns.

- Designing and executing test cases based around functional requirements.
- Defect logging and tracking using 3rd party tool.
- Liaising with 3rd party software supplier to ensure defect fix and resolution.
