- Serves as the Department of Defense (DoD) Military Working Dog (MWD) Program Manager and supports the Secretary of the Air Force’s responsibilities as the DoD MWD  Executive Agent. 

- Manages and operates a program that provides DoD components with MWD capabilities to detect, deter, or respond to actions that may affect the security of DoD installations, facilities, personnel, resources, or operations. 

- Leads the Joint Services Military Working Dog Committee and the Joint Services Trained Dog Requirements Committee. 

- Represents the Secretary of the Air Force on a variety of DoD, inter-agency, and functional area organizations.
