I am highly successful in sales management, business development and product management. I have managed the sales and marketing processes for a wide-variety of smart hardware and software products and services which require both technical and interpersonal skills to be successful. I have developed hundreds of millions in new business in my career. If you have a technical product to sell, I can sell it as well as manage and train others to do the same. Most of my career has been in power electronics, power supplies, solar and battery charging systems for every imaginable application. I have worked with the largest companies in the business of producing industrial electric vehicles, medical devices, industrial automation systems, data centers, and semiconductors. I listen to what clients want, utilize a consultative win-win approach, and I understand how to avoid common mistakes and traps others with less experience fall into. My personal experience covers a broad set of technical and commercial positions including: National and Regional Sales Manager, Test Department Manager, Design Engineer, Program Manager, Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, and President of a start-up that I founded and successfully sold. I have worked on the factory floor, in the engineering lab, behind the desk in an office and from my home. In the field, I have covered assignments in Asia, Europe, and North America. My only interest at this stage of my career is to apply my knowledge and experience to present the best overall value proposition possible for my employer to not only win new business, but to win the trust of the customer for the long-term. I know how to find the key decision makers in any size firm and present what they need to move forward. I manage the language, cultural, and time zone differences of Asia and Europe every day. Most of my work is in hardware and software development, the manufacturing process, logistics, contract negotiating, marketing, sales presentation, and most importantly closing new business. I both manage accounts and motivate, educate and support regional sales managers and representatives so they can achieve their goals. Locally, I am a backer of Social Enterprises and good causes. I also organize a large and successful Meetup group for entrepreneurs.
