Gini is a Fintech scaleup that provides services to the leading banks and insurance companies in Germany. Their main product, fotoüberweisung, is a B2B2C, AI-powered, white-label solution that is seamlessly integrated into the mobile apps of most German banks. 

As part of my MBA program, our student team was tasked to develop a product strategy for Gini's next product that aims to better Germany's payments sector.

- Thoroughly researched the German online payments landscape and the regulatory environment  to discover insights and inform the product strategy.
- Developed a comprehensive product strategy that included defining the target audience, creating a unique value proposition, and outlining a go-to-market plan that leveraged the fintech's existing network.

Product Strategy Consultant (MBA Project)

movingimage is a Berlin-based B2B SaaS that empowers companies to create value through video. From creation to hosting and distribution, movingimage offers a one-stop-shop for all video applications, live and on-demand.

As part of my MBA program, our student team was tasked to analyze the data on all videos hosted on the platform to discover insights and identify business opportunities.

- Thoroughly analyzed and visualized the data on all videos hosted on the platform.
- Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to proactively identify data-driven opportunities.
- Presented the findings and recommendations to the whole company, including senior leadership.

Product Analyst (MBA Project)

#1 Commercial Bank in Georgia, with annual revenue of 1.5 billion USD and 8000+ employees. The first neo-bank launched in Uzbekistan. 

As the Product Manager for the credit and daily banking products, I drove the product roadmap and oversaw the end-to-end development, delivery, and launch of the products. My main responsibilities included market research and analysis, product strategy and roadmap definition, product roadmap management, cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management, and go-to-market strategy definition.

- Oversaw the successful development, localization, and launch of the instant loan and daily banking products (payments, transfers, gamification) by cross-collaborating with senior leadership, and key stakeholders from engineering, design, risk, legal, operations, sales, and marketing teams.
- Conducted thorough research to gain insights into the behaviors, preferences, and needs of the target users involving interviews, surveys, user testing, and data analysis to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
- Created Figma prototypes to test and validate the proposed digital banking solutions with real users, gathered user feedback, and refined the product strategy and roadmaps before full-scale development.
- Built, organized, and maintained the product backlog, ensuring the user stories and product requirements were of the highest quality and aligned with the design and engineering teams.

Mirpotolkov

Mirpotolkov is a professional home-improvement services business that I co-founded. As the product manager and business lead, I was responsible for finding the product-market fit and managing all aspects of the business besides production.

- Conducted thorough customer interviews to understand user needs and deliver the best user experiences.
- Implemented data-driven decision-making processes, utilizing analytics and user metrics to optimize product performance and drive growth.
- Executed a customer-satisfaction process, resulting in post-sales customer experience improvements and a subsequent increase of customer satisfaction rates from 65% to 92% and a 250% increase in customer referrals.
- Developed and implemented a customer acquisition funnel with an 11% Google ads clickthrough rate (CTR) and a 32% website visit-to-lead conversion rate.

Rank.uz

Rank.uz was a startup that operated as an online services marketplace, similar to taskrabbit but with many more categories. The platform connected customers in need of specific services with skilled professionals who can fulfill those needs. The platform allowed customers to browse through listings, read reviews and ratings, and directly hire service providers for their specific tasks.

- Thoroughly researched and consolidated the needs of all end users, including service providers and service seekers, to identify pain points and opportunities for product improvements.
- Collaborated with engineering, design, and operations teams to prioritize and roadmap product initiatives that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Optimized the sales, marketing, and engineering processes to speed up the time-to-market for each new category from 3+ months to under 3 weeks.
- Developed over 80 detailed user stories, reducing development time and accelerating platform growth.

Tom.uz was the first PropTech platform to launch in Uzbekistan. I joined the team to develop, launch, grow and monetize the platform by setting up product management processes and contributing my business expertise.

- Researched the market, target audience, and stakeholders to identify problems, pain points, and opportunities that the product can address or capitalize on.
- Developed detailed product requirements, features, and technical specifications based on the insights gathered during the discovery phase, including creating user stories and developing a product roadmap.
- Collaborated with design and engineering teams to develop, deliver, and launch the platform.

Brandbox Creative

Brandbox Creative was a leading local creative and digital marketing agency. During the rapid expansion of social media websites like Facebook, Instagram, and Odnoklassniki in Uzbekistan, I have partnered with the company to launch a new product that would help local companies with their social media marketing needs. 

In this role, I have developed the product vision and strategy to align and inspire all stakeholders, recruited and led a team of 25 experts, including 2 managers who reported directly to me, and implemented systematic business processes.

- Launched the first professional social media marketing service in Central Asia
- Led the service to become the market leader, serving more than 25 companies, including Samsung, Huawei, BMW, OLX Group, and other local companies.
- Improved and simplified the business processes of the company, which resulted in the reduction of company debt, improved financial stability, and reduced project delays. This resulted in increased sales and profits and an improvement in company culture.
