My passion for technology began as a child, when I would take apart my first computer just to understand how it worked. That curiosity became a practical mindset: exploring systems, understanding their logic, and imagining how technology could evolve beyond existing models.

Today, I am CEO of Cubish S.r.l., an innovative Italian startup developing a geolocated digital ecosystem built on the Spatial Web. Cubish enables individuals, communities, institutions, and businesses to create, share, and interact with digital content anchored to real-world locations.

The platform structures the Earth into over 5.1 trillion 100 m² cubes, each capable of hosting thousands of Cube Domains: digital spaces for multimedia content, services, information, and interactions. Cube Domains can expand across multiple cubes, connecting streets, squares, buildings, shops, territories, and events, creating a multilayered, distributed, and merit-based ecosystem.

Cubish is designed to integrate immersive technologies such as AR, VR, MR, and XR, creating an intelligent digital layer seamlessly integrated with the physical world.

The project is protected by PATENT PENDING No. 102025000004906, filed on March 10, 2025, and extended to over 150 countries through the PCT procedure PCT/IB2026/052012.

My goal is to build one of the first scalable geolocated digital ecosystems, where the web evolves into an interactive spatial experience capable of generating tangible value for people, businesses, territories, and new markets.

I've always been fascinated by the world of technology. My passion began when I was just 8 years old; my grandmother gifted me my first PC, a Compaq 286. From that moment, I disassembled and examined every component, sparking an adventure that shaped my future in the field of computer science.

But it was about ten years ago that I made a discovery that changed everything: Augmented Reality, or AR. Since then, I've been on an exciting journey, exploring its endless possibilities and its impact on society.

For me, AR is one of the few technologies that can genuinely capture the imagination like real magic, transforming the way we interact with the world.

I enjoy tackling difficult challenges and solving unsolved problems, devising innovative solutions that break conventional norms.

Over the years, I've honed my skills in building teams for complex IT projects, gaining valuable experience in the early stages of project development.

In Italy 🇮🇹, the startup ecosystem is growing.

Incubators, accelerators, mentors, investors. It’s a positive sign ✅

But here’s a reflection 🤔

Many support models are built to make ideas understandable, measurable, and replicable.
It makes sense. Capital seeks predictability.

The thing is… truly disruptive innovations rarely start neatly organized.
At first, they’re messy, ambitious, hard to explain in ten slides.
They don’t have a single use case. They don’t fit perfectly into a framework.

So the question becomes cultural

Do we want startups that fit the current system
or the conditions for those that try to redesign it? 🌍

This isn’t a critique. It’s a challenge.

Perhaps we need more space for non-linear visions.
Less rush to simplify.
More courage to let ideas grow 🚀

Beyond its military context, this is a powerful lesson in strategy 🧩.

In the startup world, I often see detailed roadmaps shared publicly: features, timelines, future directions. Transparency is good ✅, but publicly exposing your entire strategic plan also makes you predictable.

A roadmap is, in essence, a battle plan. Large corporations can afford to be predictable. Startups usually cannot.

Many established companies today follow linear, iterative paths. Apple with the iPhone built something extraordinary, yet the market now largely knows the rhythm: incremental improvements, annual cycles, predictable evolution.

When Steve Jobs was leading, the dynamic was different ⚡. It wasn’t just product innovation. It was strategic unpredictability. You prepared for one direction, and suddenly the axis shifted.

For a startup, strategy is not only about what you build. It’s also about what you communicate, when you communicate it, and what you deliberately choose not to communicate.

Strategy is not just building. It’s knowing when to be seen and when not to be 👁️.

I’ve tried it myself: superficial connections, conversations you can’t really have, too much noise and very little substance.

💡LinkedIn is different. It’s the last social network where relationship quality can still hold up. Here, you can actually talk to people, build authentic connections, and cultivate a truly useful network.

🚀 Reality is becoming… ridiculously digital.

🪰Here is a fly. Now imagine its brain reconstructed from a real biological connectome, connected to a virtual body, and placed inside a simulated world where every smell, every light, and every movement is perceived as real.

🤯 This is not science fiction. It is Eon Systems, using NeuroMechFly together with MuJoCo, recreating more than 125,000 neurons and 50 million synaptic connections from a fruit fly brain. Every stimulus in the virtual environment activates the digital neural model, which in turn drives the virtual body. In practice, a fly moving through a digital world… without knowing it.

And here is where it becomes fascinating: this digital fly could theoretically persist indefinitely. No biological aging, no organic decay, only computational continuity, as long as the system remains active. A form of functional immortality, limited only by infrastructure.

🤔But this is where the deeper question begins: if we can preserve and simulate something this small today, what happens when the same principle is applied to far more complex systems? The line between biological existence and digital persistence becomes thinner, while the boundary between what is real and what is simulated starts to dissolve.

This is not only science. It is philosophy… with a disturbing edge. Because sooner or later, technology will force us to confront a new question: what deserves continuity, and what happens when intelligence no longer depends on biology?

When you build something new, opinions matter less than facts. And even less than numbers.

At the beginning, we were two. By the time the company was incorporated, we had become 26 cofounders.

For the patent, I was told several times that it couldn’t be done because it was software.

In these situations, the most rational way to approach the problem is to think in terms of probabilities. If an answer is negative, it doesn’t mean the solution doesn’t exist. It simply means you haven’t encountered it yet.

⚡Increasing the number of attempts increases the probability of finding the right people and real expertise.

It’s a simple approach: fewer opinions, more research. Continuing to search makes all the difference. 🧊
