Likes are no longer enough. LinkedIn now measures how long people spend on your post ⏱️. It’s a smart move because it’s not about who passes by but who stops, reads, thinks and engages. That’s a real signal of quality.

Here are the key updates 👇

1️⃣ Human content beats perfect content. The algorithm rewards authenticity, not façades. If you sound like a robot, you’ll be treated like one. Be careful with fully AI-generated posts as they can be detected and penalized.

2️⃣ Comments matter more than likes. Conversation is the new currency. Every time someone comments, the algorithm gives your post more visibility.

3️⃣ Speed of interaction. The first two hours are crucial. The more quality engagement you get early on, the more your post will be pushed. Prepare as if you were launching something big.

4️⃣ Hashtags should be relevant, not random, and they’re becoming less necessary overall.

5️⃣ Links in the post. If they don’t relate closely to your content, you’ll be penalized. It’s better to place them in the first comment instead.

The first time I saw augmented reality was more than ten years ago, at a technology fair in Milan.
On a table there was a Barilla pasta box turned upside down, the pieces scattered everywhere.
You could walk around it, move closer, even step inside the box.
It was there, but it wasn’t there.
The difference was in the eye. It required a digital one.

For a man of the Middle Ages, magic would have been turning on a light bulb with a click.
For me, it was that moment: the wonder of realizing that, under the right conditions, the world could become a magical place.

From that day on (besides eating a bit more pasta than usual) I fell in love with that technology.
Over the years, I followed its evolution with curiosity and passion: from SLAM systems (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), which allow a device to reconstruct the surrounding environment and estimate its position in real time, to the spatial anchors introduced by ARKit and ARCore, enabling virtual objects to stay fixed and persistent in the real world. Then came markers and QR codes, the early forms of visual tracking, triangulation systems based on multiple sensors, and point clouds generated by depth sensors and LiDAR scanners.

Each step forward brought me back to that pasta box, something real and digital at the same time.
A world that exists, but only if you have the right eye to see it.

And perhaps, to truly build it, a different eye wasn’t enough.
It also needed fertile ground to grow. 😉

💡 How to Build a Startup Without Building a Startup.


It may sound like a play on words, but sometimes the best way to start a startup is to decide not to start one. Everyone talks about startups today, but too often people start backwards. They open a company, design a logo, rush to register a domain just to be able to say: I have a startup.

Wrong. Stop there. There are more important things to do first. The first one is called a plan. And no, not a rushed business plan or one made by someone filling spreadsheets with imaginary numbers. That’s usually an expensive exercise in fantasy.

You need a living plan, one that starts from you, from what you know, what you don’t know, and what you want to learn. Take a piece of paper, seriously, pen and paper, and make your own shopping list. Not for bread and milk (unless you’re opening a grocery store) but for everything that truly needs to exist to bring your idea to life.

Don’t write random numbers. Write down only what you know the real cost of. And for what you don’t know, don’t guess. Search, ask, learn. Those answers will become your first resources, because they’ll give you what you don’t yet have.

You don’t need a company to start building. You need a clear vision and the discipline to make it real, one step at a time. Steve Jobs once said that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

Building a startup without building a startup means exactly that: starting from substance, not from form. Understanding whether the world truly needs what you’re creating before giving it a name, a logo, or a legal structure.

Because when you sit down, think, sketch, fail, seek answers, connect the dots, you’ll realize you’re already building a startup, even without having one yet. And when you finally create it, it will be only because it already existed.

I don’t know why, but there’s always been a time of day that works best for me.
And no, it’s not during the day.

It happens when I wake up between 2 and 3 a.m. The mind is clear, silent, as if someone turned off the noise of the world and left only the creative flow switched on.

There are hundreds of apps that geolocate data and content in the real world 🌍, Google being the first. But try organizing hundreds or thousands of pieces of content in the same location using these platforms, and the result is total chaos ⚠️ (see image below).

Cubish does more than just geolocate content. Its strength lies in organizing large amounts of content and data in the same space, in this case a 10x10 cube 🧊, solving a real technical problem: content overlap and collision management.

The Cubish system manages content through multiple layers and patented priority rules, preventing conflicts between elements and allowing the orderly overlap of multiple contributions in the same real-world space. Essentially, this makes it possible for multiple “realities” with different data to coexist, and in the future, even overlapping immersive realities in the same location 🎮. Imagine what would happen without this system. John creates a piece of content at a location, but it is not useful or high-quality, so the space is wasted. The value in equity.

People often talk about investors as if they were an end in themselves, forgetting that capital is only part of the value. In the startup world, money matters, but it’s not always the most strategic resource.

When I think about an investment, and the entry of new figures into the company’s capital, I look beyond the cash they bring. I also consider their contribution in terms of experience, network, and specialized skills. In other words, I look for smart money, not just money.

In the early stages of a startup, when valuations are still modest and equity allocations have a significant impact on the cap table, every new investor should bring tangible value on an operational or strategic level. An investor who opens doors, speeds up decisions, or strengthens the credibility of the project can be worth more than one who simply provides capital.

Equity should never be seen merely as a financial transaction, but as an alliance built on trust, shared vision, and the ability to create mutual value.
