She walks to her own beat. She is a forward thinker. She thinks outside of the box. I am amazingly comfortable in my own skin and I live by the cardinal rule of the heart – LOVE!  I am committed to living a life that fulfills my purpose on planet earth. I am a bridge that connects music, words, and the right intention to cross over and soothe the soul of humanity through sound. Sometimes sound is just using my voice as an instrument to tell stories that awaken mankind. Sometimes I use my voice to intrigue, other times to draw attention to a product or take them on an adventure through someone else's story.
I have great people skills and a strong personality. My word is my bond. I operate my life with integrity, and I always strive to do my very best. I seek to be an inspiration and encourage others to be their best and go for the gold! I believe that it’s important to bring the A game to everything I do.  I love stimulating conversations and teamwork. I believe in the best of people. I write spiritual contemplation blogs which have really taken off across the social media framework. It makes my soul smile to know that so many people are touched by both my words and music, which has led me to birth the SIPPIN’ TEA With DORIE P Workshop series.

That purpose is making great music that stirs the heart and provokes thoughts that challenge people's consciousness and wake them up. I write music on my guitar and sing words that entice, invite and open unconscious eyes to see the bigger purpose of our lives, through my words and music. Dorie Pride is a gifted poetess who spreads seeds of LIGHT through her music. She draws upon her Native American and African roots compelling her to use her voice to bring attention to humanity, the political world, and mother earth. Through her prolific timely observations on the human condition, she brings awareness to the global warming crisis and the ever-growing lack of compassion. Dorie weaves thought-provoking stories on our social tapestry, beckoning humanity to pause and listen, take heed to what is going on with the mishandling of our government’s democracy, police brutality, racial injustice, chaos, civil rights, women’s rights, global warming, and soaring death tolls from Covid-19. Dorie is also a Voiceover actress. She masterfully embodied the voice of Western North Carolina midwife/medicine woman Mary Louisa Stepp Burnette Hayden (ca. 1858-1956), for a biographical video project conceived by Hayden’s great-great-granddaughter, Regina Lynch-Hudson.
