There are a few things that I find a bit pointless, but this week I have found a new and probably the most pointless charge yet - a toll to be more precise.

I had the pleasure of driving between Gloucester and Oxford this week seeing clients new and old.
Coming into Oxford I had to cross the Thames via the Swinford bridge. I drive up and a sign boldly explains there is a toll to pay, awe well onwards we go, where up on I stumble on two elderly chaps in a toll booth causing a traffic jam in rural Oxford shire in the middle of the day( ok only 10 cars but you get the jist)
No card payment only cash and CCTV monitoring so you have to pay the 5p, you read that right 5p to cross the bridge, to pay the old boys wages you need 440 cars an hour, my only question is WHY
