My childhood fascination with how things work (yes, I was the kid who was constantly taking the lawn mower and kitchen appliances apart) evolved into a desire to understand system relationships and dependencies. Enter the Navy, which decided I would be a terrific Aviation Electronics Technician. In addition to my theoretical and practical electronics knowledge, my sense of adventure helped me qualify to be part of a P3-Orion air crew. This blend of technical acumen and experience in risky operating environments led to a career change during the War on Terror when I became an Intelligence Specialist. As I rose in rank and capabilities, I gained specialization in almost all intelligence disciplines and safeguarded global security in several enlisted and commissioned roles, ultimately becoming an NCIS criminal investigator. During the 2021 evacuation of Kabul, I founded Operation Six Twenty (OP620) to rescue and resettle Afghans who served shoulder-to-shoulder with U.S. and NATO forces. I continue that mission today. Specific highlights of my accomplishments and qualifications include: • Able to rapidly understand people thanks to expertise in verbal/non-verbal behavioral analysis, as well as attitude evaluation and analysis. • Adept at quickly analyzing problem sets and developing solutions in time-critical situations in which people’s lives are jeopardized. • Versed in a variety of information-gathering techniques: persuasive, criminal interrogations, debriefings, and legal interviewing. • Worldwide experience in operational environments that include land, sea, and air. • Success working with countries on every continent except Antarctica. • Regularly selected for time-sensitive, no-fail missions that include the removal of terrorists in Afghanistan, combating ISIS in Africa, and prosecuting transnational targets as an NCIS agent.
