For more than a decade I have been professionally involved in the direction, administration and consulting of educational, artistic and cultural projects. I have coordinated and advised a wide variety of projects, including research, curatorships, exhibitions, art contests, dialogue tables, meetings, workshops, editorial, audiovisual, scenic and digital art projects. I have also coordinated volunteer work in diverse scenarios: migrants' house in San Luis Potosí, Wixárika community high school in Jalisco, and Tsotsil and Tseltal coffee cooperatives in Chiapas. I have an academic background with Master's degrees in Cultural Management and Development from the University of Guadalajara, and in Communication for Science and Culture from ITESO, which has allowed me to consolidate an expert voice on issues that link art, crafts, intercultural education, interculturality, cultural diversity and museums. I am director and co-founder of MAIC Museo de Arte Indígena Contemporáneo an itinerant museum that, since 2012 has taken to 12 cities in 3 different countries, exhibitions and public programs for the re-valuation and re-signification of the artistic expressions of the peoples. As a consultant, I have provided my services to independent artists, cultural and tourism companies, NGOs and government institutions. I have served as a consultant in the commissions of Culture and Cinematography, Radio and T.V., Federalism and Municipal Development, and Southern Border Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies, and I have participated in the research, analysis and drafting of legislative initiatives, rulings, points of agreement, speeches and reports in these areas. My experience and knowledge contribute to the construction of innovative strategies and methodologies from a socio-cultural, but also environmental, economic and political vision, inserted in the current context that is both global and local.
