Dr A Prabakaran has more than 30 years experience as a medical doctor. He has held various positions as a Senior Medical Officer with MOH Malaysia in both Clinical and non Clinical Administrative positions before his retirement from MOH, Malaysia. He has been involved in Non- Communicable Diseases and Integrative Medicine. He is currently the Vice President of the Association of Integrative Medicine, Malaysia ( AIMM) and has been a member of the Organising Committee of several International Integrative Medicine conferences and has a passion for life long learning. He completed his MBA in 2023. He has been trained as a Public Speaker by the Negeri Sembilan State Health Department. He has attended many courses in Non- Communicable Diseases,Primary Care Medicine, Public Health & Emergency Medicine over the years but his special interest & current focus is in the field of NCD, Integrative Medicine & Mental Health.He has worked as a Senior Medical Officer for Non- Communicable Diseases with MOH from 2006 - till now. He believes that the essence in having a good life is keeping physically fit & having a good balance in mental & spritual activities as an Anti Aging activity. Integrative Medicine involves treating patients holistically as there is a strong Mind- Body connection in illness. His area of focus in Integrative Medicine is in Lifestyle Modification for Wellness. He has an interest attending Zumba & Go Bhangra classes as a hobby, reading, martial arts, recreational & social activities, practice of Mindfullness, Meditation and self taught Life Long education.He is a Life Member of the Association of Integrative Medicine, Malaysia, Malaysian Medical Association, the Manipal Alumni Association, Malaysia , a member of the International Manipal Relations Alumni & Veritas University College MBA Alumni. He is currently a Medical Advisor to Signbeats.
