The nature of PhD degree, Post Doctoral and industrial experiences, it involved a great deal of independent research, requiring initiative, self-motivation and a wide range of skills like exam managements, Departmental laboratory classes, handling different sophisticated instruments eg., UV-Vis spectra, FTIR, Zeta Analyzer, GC, Ultra Centrifuge etc and also advanced software eg., Origin, Design Expert, Minitab etc. For this course, an understanding of industry was essential.
