I am CEO and co-founder of RealRate and DigiOptions. Getting my PhD in statistics, I founded several fintech companies, driven by the idea of changing markets using new technology. I worked as appointed actuary in the insurance industry and communicated with rating agencies. That’s where I learned what needs to be changed to revolutionize the ratings industry, resulting in RealRate Inc (Santa Clara / Berlin). In my first startup we were acting as a market maker and making financial forecasts: now that we have the blockchain we can provide such decentralized markets via DigiOptions.
