I am interested in human language: how language is structured and used; how languages differ and change over time and how language is linked to culture , society , history, identity, nature and other domains of human life.

My interest links between Multilingualism and equitable access to education, as well as the connection between Multilingual practices, conflict and conflict resolution.

I teach English Language and English Linguistics in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Anambra State Nigeria with my research interests in Sociolinguistics (Language and culture, Nigerian Pidgins and Creoles, Nigerian English,Gender Studies), World Englishes, Diasporas.

I have my BA in English Language and Literature;MA in English Language;Post Graduate Diploma in English (PGDE). I am a TEFL Certified Teacher, Member ELTAN( English Language Teaching Association of Nigeria),  and also, a TRCN certified teacher.
