Successfully defended his PhD thesis on “Metrics for Specification, Validation, and Uncertainty Prediction for Credibility in Simulation of Active Perception Sensor Systems” under supervision of Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Hermann Winner on 08.11.2022. Part of the team at the Institute of Automotive Engineering (Fahrzeugtechnik Darmstadt, FZD) that was delivering the sensor system simulation for lidar and radar within the German research projects SET Level and VVMethods on safety validation of ADS. Former work package lead for "System Component Simulation and Stimuli" in ECSEL-JU project ENABLE-S3. Part of the team from FZD for implementation and validation of radar and lidar sensor system simulation for safety validation of ADS in the research projects PEGASUS (use case highway pilot), ENABLE-S3 (use case valet parking).
