Writing has never been as important as it is now, with content marketing gradually overtaking traditional advertisement channels. In the past 8+ years, I have written over 400 articles on environment, organics, sustainability, circular economy, packaging, precision tools, and SaaS for precision farming and carbon accounting, for digital publications and private enterprises, including SEO optimized articles and white papers. I am also adept at copywriting. An ecological scientist, I have experience in scientific writing and have published three peer-reviewed articles, two of which are for international publishers (Oxford University Press and Wiley). I blog on environmental issues and possible solutions to tackle them. Moreover, I have written and self-published an ebook on the relationships of different animals and plants with their environment. I have used writing as a means to achieve goals in my work in the environmental non-profit and eco-business sectors in India. A great deal of my time during this period was spent preparing correspondence, promotional material for products and techniques, feasibility reports, grant writing, and project reports. During this time I relied on research as well as direct interactions with people from diverse backgrounds for information. As a freelance writer, I use peer-reviewed articles and reports to help solve many of the environmental problems and make eco-friendly choices. The solutions are in every case holistic and promote climate change mitigation and adaptation, decentralized circular economies, land-use by local communities for livelihoods, reduction of rural poverty, improving food security, and aid sustainable management of natural resources. Transferable skills that I have learned as an administrator can be used to good effect in writing for businesses. I am a self-starter who can also work as part of a larger team as I communicate well. I believe in giving my best and working hard on any assignment big or small to contribute to an organization’s success.
