She has 20+ years track record of successfully advising, mentoring and coaching students and professionals globally on a range of life and work issues. She can unpack complex problems down to manageable bits and identify the root of their issues. Honed since childhood and throughout her professional career as a lawyer and leader in a global matrix organization, empathic deep listening is her superpower! All of the methodologies and principles Winnie uses in her coaching work are backed by science and have been proven to work globally across cultures. Winnie has lived in Canada, Germany, China and currently lives in Hong Kong. Prior to her current path, Winnie was the Deputy General Manager of BASF's Guangdong Verbund project in Zhanjiang, China. She is a strong leader with proven ability to successfully manage a wide range of stakeholders, including executive management, in order to push for organisational change which leads to more efficient and effective operations. She has also gained a thorough understanding of how to navigate and succeed in a matrix organization through working extensively with all functional and business units in a multi-national company at a global, regional and local level. Prior to her role in China, she spent almost 8 years in BASF's Real Estate and Facility Management department, including 4+ years as the Head of Real Estate & Facility Management Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong, and 3+ years in the Group Real Estate Projects Team in the Group Real Estate & Facility Management Department at BASF SE in Germany. As a group, they manage the full life cycle of BASF's real estate portfolio worldwide. Her passion is for workplace concepts which enable a more engaging and productive workforce. Prior to working at BASF, Winnie was a practicing lawyer for seven years in Canada. She had a general corporate/commercial law practice advising entrepreneurs, businesses, and institutions on the setup of companies, corporate governance issues, and a wide range of business transactions, including commercial real estate development and M&A. She also advised both employees and employers on employment law related matters.
