I am originally from Sierra Leone and worked in the Ebola outbreak. Later, I moved to the US as a Fulbright Scholar to do my Masters in Public Health. I am currently working as a postdoctoral scholar at St. Michael's Hospital/ University of Toronto under a great mentor and team of surgeons. My scholarship has appeared in academic journals, including the Lancet, BMJ, Injury, and CDC infectious disease journals. I am also a current Queen Elizabeth Scholar at the University of Toronto.
