As a Consultant for Vitality Natural Health, I designed the post-processing systems, and overcome an initial reluctance to documentation. Thus putting in place the protocols necessary to enable industrial-scale production of CBD Isolate. 

Through intense planning, designing, construction, and training, sustainable results were achieved. In six months time, the program had all functions necessary for the fresh staff to achieve autonomous production. This enabled the company to go public on the Canadian stock exchange.

Laboratory Supervisor

I took over the duties performed by two consultants previously as Extraction Specialist at Advanced Extraction. I helped this company overcome a roadblock in the production of its key product. I did this by systematically improving both up- and down-stream processes here. 

These improvements also enabled better checks for product degradation and other quality control issues. 

Furthermore, I enabled the scaling of production by sourcing and setting up new extraction equipment. Of which I also oversaw all maintenance activities. Another contribution here was creating and documenting SOPs for all major workflows and ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.

As a Distillation Technician here, I produced high-quality cannabis distillates by operating multiple short-path distillation units. As a result, I was able to achieve ~100% potency for THC distillates. I sampled the final product for analysis using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography.

As Trim Crew Supervisor, I streamlined post-process and post-harvest development. Overseeing the product cultivation and trim crew operations here I improved byproduct utilization, developing a viable product, from what was previously thought to be waste material. 

As Extraction Specialist I produced high-quality solvent-less concentrates derived from hand-trimmed post-harvest residuals. These full melt hashes were sold both in-store and wholesale to dispensaries in Colorado.
