I entered corporate America at the age of 18 years old. I was a teen mom of a 1 month old baby girl and I was ready to take on the world. if I only knew.... Today, I am in my 40s and starting somewhere close to the bottom again. I am ready though. I have a new beginning, a 2nd chance at life after living in a nightmare with my pre-teen daughter clinging to my hip. I have made questionable decisions throughout this journey, but in return I have learned some very difficult lessons. The most important of those lessons is that I consciously work hard at being a good role model. My older 2 children are no longer at home with me, and my youngest is at the most impressionable stage of her life. The decisions I make today will leave an imprint on who she will become and what she decides to contribute to the world. I have always had a love for learning something new and trying different ways to earn a comfortable living. Considering that I have never had my adjustable gross income tally in over $15,000 in a single year, kind of says that I haven't been very successful at the comfortable living part. I do, however, have a lot of knowledge, but not in one sector of business. I know how to manage an office, retain customers, solve problems, crunch numbers, analyze data, audit business processes, and run a company. I challenge myself daily. I learn as much as I can. I never walk away from a conversation with someone without them becoming a friend. I treat everyone from all levels of authority and all walks of life with the same respect I expect from them. I am blunt, honest, and to the point. I am loyal to a fault and will stand behind something I believe in. I love to create and make the old new again. I use my creativity to find solutions to business processes that need some adjustments. I am an artist. I am walking down my spiritual path with grace and a sense of knowing my purpose, but not knowing exactly where I will fit in and make the most impact. I am not sure what I will end up doing to earn that comfortable lifestyle, but I know there is something big coming for me, and it will align with my life's purpose. If I have applied for a position with your company, know that I support your products or services and will take complete ownership of the role I have applied for.
