Working as Clinical Director for the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience, I am able to provide schools with targeted coaching, facilitation, and support in the field of Positive Education. This helps them to become healthy and happy working environments, where teachers are able to provide the best possible learning outcomes for all of the children they teach. A bit about me: I am a highly experienced, qualified and passionate registered psychologist (kaimātai hauora hinengaro), with over 25 years of experience working across multiple mental health, educational, and organisational settings in both the United Kingdom and Aotearoa, New Zealand. With a Doctorate in Child, Educational and Community Psychology from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, and an undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Sussex, my focus over the past 13 years has been on engaging with schools and local government agencies through consultation, training and facilitation to promote better well-being outcomes for students, families and the whole school community.
