Dr. Evy Sakellariou is a distinguished Scholar, Mentor, Director, Founder, and Chair with extensive board, executive committee, and commercial experience spanning the Retail/FMCG, Research, and Higher Education sectors in the UK and Europe. She has effectively mentored managers, entrepreneurs, and postgraduate students, fostering both personal and professional growth. At Unilever, a FTSE 100 company, she led diverse, multicultural teams and managed portfolio P&L across food, ice cream, home, and personal care categories, where she developed and executed innovation and marketing strategies with a focus on senior leadership, people management, and governance. Currently, Dr. Sakellariou is an Associate Professor and Generative AI Innovation Lead at the Foresight Creativity and Decision-Making Hub at Kingston Business School, London, where she also serves as Postgraduate Course Director. Her work centers on advancing Gen AI in innovation management and leadership, bridging academia and industry to equip future leaders with the skills to drive meaningful change. For her contributions, she has been awarded Fellowships with the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange, the UK's professional body for innovators. Her research has been published in top-tier academic journals, including Organization Science, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Creativity and Innovation Management, with several articles featured in the World Elite Financial Times 50 journals. Dr. Sakellariou is also the Founder and Chair of the Think Tank 'Women4AInnovation Futures', an influential community of senior female leaders across diverse industries. In addition, she serves on the Doctoral and Scientific Committees of the International Product Development and Management Conference (IPDMC), hosted by the European Institute of Advanced Studies in Management in Brussels.
