I am founder and CEO of multi award winning communications agency Battenhall, named The Drum's social media consultancy three years running, and PRCA, CIPR, PR Week, PR Moment and Global Social Media Awards’ agency of the year 30 times and counting. I am currently Campaign Magazine and the Sabres’ CEO of the Year, was voted NMA’s top social media person, am 14 years a PR Week PowerBooker, have a PRCA outstanding contribution award and did a Ted Talk about all of this. I set up Battenhall solo after having been a founding figure in the social media movement. I started it in the late 90’s and wrote the social media page on Wikipedia. More recently I founded RAISE, a non-profit initiative to for social media safety. It’s seen me write courses for schools, deliver workshops in prisons, and work in the media. It’s a big part of the culture and ethos behind Battenhall, which is to create the next great agency.
