Back in the day, I was a technology consultant, mainly working as an analyst, and I got to meet a bunch of e-commerce agencies. They had expensive shoes and nice cars and smelled fancy and gave the best PowerPoint, with lots of flow charts and graphs showing how smart they were. They were clowns! 🤡 So many promises, it was going to be great 🤡 No details 🤡 No talking about hard things 🤡 They asked for a long contract and a big check 🤡 We discussed what colors our Lambos were going to be 🏎️💨 Needless to say, I hired a bunch of contractors, took a shower, and then moved on to the next project as consultants do. But the thought stuck with me, there had to be a better way. Small companies needed help. E-commerce is exciting. Lambo or not, what a great puzzle to work on. 🏎️💨 Several years later I founded Fast + Light with my business partner Alex. Fast + Light is a climbing term, it means using the least to achieve the most, keeping your pack light enough for a quick summit and return, and minimizing exposure to the elements. Fast + Light helps companies with great products and services that have struggled to generate profit with e-commerce. There’s no ‘hack’ and it’s not magic - we care about our clients and utilize fundamentals like conversion optimization, merchandising, and up-to-date ad tactics to help you succeed. 🧗 Everything we do is month-to-month or project-based. 🧗 Since it's all connected, we still advise on all the other parts of your business like email, content production, PR, and SEO. 🧗 We’ve developed great relationships with other agencies who are experts in things we aren’t. 🧗 Most importantly, we help our clients make informed decisions and take action to generate revenue and scale their business as part of their team.
