• Steered the development and implementation of several vital company and employee programs including training, safety and recognition. Evaluated and localized company processes to ensure effectiveness.
• Conceptualized, monitored and evaluated individual goals and strategic plans for the training and development department. Conferred with senior leadership to ensure quality, relevance and consistency of programs, strategies and services.
• Comprehended and implemented company and national safety changes quickly to decrease the number of incidents across multiple locations. 
• Tracked vehicle recordings continuously to eliminate any potentially dangerous practices and to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all guests. Perpetuated ongoing and open communication with employees and contractors to guarantee consistency and build genuine relationships.

• Directed redesign of the Training and Safety Program to ensure consistency across multiple locations.
• Trimmed operational costs for multiple locations by developing budgets, allocating, and pre‐approving and monitoring expenditures.
• Liaised with Human Resources and Operations teams in design, implementation and support of professional development and succession planning to retain superior employees.

Regional Director Of Safety (Multiple States)

XPO Logistics, Inc.

• Supervised a 50,500 sq. ft. warehouse as a third-party carrier for two IKEA stores, 144 Masco franchises and 151 Payless Shoe Stores. This involved verifying accuracy for staging and inventory for daily deliveries as well as reviewing and evaluating the security process daily to enforce proper policies and procedures. 
• Completed hourly monitoring of routes to guarantee on‐time deliveries and to maintain high level customer satisfaction scores.
• Guided, trained developed up to thirteen independent contractor teams which served all of Florida with the exception of the Panhandle.
• Boosted bottom‐line profits by bringing new vision, energy and organization to a warehouse that had been held back by lack of cohesion, teamwork, system resources and service quality. 
• Identified and eliminated inefficiencies to allow customer satisfaction and employee rapport to exceed all previous standards. Utilized open communication and a sense of empowerment to develop camaraderie between staff and contractors.

• Surpassed and increased profitability goals by consistently maintaining a 38% split through cutting excessive costs and implementing process improvements where needed.
• Bolstered “voice of customer” satisfaction scores by 40%, which ranked the location as one of the top 3 warehouses in the nation for Masco.
• Decreased labor and operating costs to save thousands of dollars each month by recognizing inefficiencies and implementing standardized procedures.

PSYMON STARK NETWORK, LLC

• Functioned as the primary managing consultant of FSA Network to provide technical and business consultation services including system and corporate network designs. 
• Installed and implemented business management systems that allowed FSA to acquire additional nationwide contracts with Sears, Best Buy, GE and HHGregg. 
• Visited nationwide sites and other FSA locations to ensure standardization of processes and procedures, which allowed failing locations to flourish.
• Introduced procedures and developed systems that ensured higher revenue for the FSA Network.
• Led and assisted in pilot of inventory, routing and warehousing processes for Best Buy on the West Coast. 
• Articulated and shared experience and knowledge with other employees and contractors to continue the success of the company even after my contract was completed.

Hand selected to be a part of an elite group of managers for the South Florida area.  Created, built and trained new innovative selling strategies to both corporate and store level managers and associates.  Verified employees understood and grasped concepts that certain decisions will cause harm to revenue, gross margin and customer loyalty.

FSA NETWORK (2004-2005)

Managed a 17,500 sq. ft. warehouse and cross-dock as the third party carrier for Best Buy Co. Developed and maintained strong relationship between stores and DDC. Reviewed customer loyalty reports daily as well as created reports to ensure surrounding Best Buy stores understood their “drivers and drainers”.  Consistently managed and trained twelve independent contractor teams, as well as delivery shuttles that serviced Central and South Florida areas.

CUSTOMER LOGISTICS FACILITY MANAGER

Best Buy

Hired as a full-time cashier, then quickly promoted to Tech Supervisor for a high-volume 32,000 sq. Ft. store. Diagnosed and repaired audio-video equipment at the store, or sent material to the service center for further repair. Managed and scheduled a nine-employee tech bench to ensure profitability and to stay within budget.

I am guy who loves different things and attempts to gel them all together! For as long as I can remember I have been in love with the medium that was created by Guglielmo Marconi (radio). It's been amazing that while you have a radio with you, you never seem to be alone. During the years the passion of radio has led me down some exciting times, I never knew that I would find another love similar to radio but this time it was safety! 

Safety has been something of a passion project for me that has driven me to take more years of schooling than I ever planned. After pursuing a doctorate in psychology, I wondered how could I share the message of safety and the world of radio, this caused the birth of Safety FM. Safety FM is the only radio station to focus on 24/7 broadcast about safety. It's been mind-blowing how many people listen to the shows on the station.

I currently go around the world (virtually now) talking about safety and I host three radio shows. Rated R Safety Show(Safety FM Show), The Jay Allen Show (Safety FM Show), and Jay Allen in The Morning (Radio Big Show). I am always amazed with this so-called life!
